It’s a great retro console. There could’ve been more games or even better games added to it. I can see why people were upset.

Great memories when i was growing up and games i played great to see it in a smaller version everything works the same

Purchased this to add to my video game collection. Having played with the original, this console doesn't quite stand up to the standards set by the original. The game selection is okay at best, Overall, still a good addition to the video game collection.

This is a great box for hacking and putting your own games on it if you know how to do that. As it stands on its own without being hacked, it’s not really good because of the PAL games, bad game selection, and bad emulation.

If I had paid full price I might be disappointed, but for $19 this is a fun bit of nostalgia. Controllers work well.

For the price, it’s worth buying it. Brings back old memories. My only gripe is that I wish they added Grand turismo.

In original release this product was not up to par. Sony put out a lazy product. They used the slower European PAL releases on a lot if the games. The choices of titles were also somewhat questionable. It was the modding community that really breathed life into this system. Now, fairly easily you can add more titles and use a better interface with ease. Definitely a must buy console now.

Sadly Sony didn't care about preserving their legacy through one of these classic systems. This is barely a step above those generic "Retro Console" sold at Wallmart/ Target, whatever. But on the other hand the comunity have come to the rescue and with a little soft modding you can turn this into the ultimate PS1 classic. Same idea as the NES/SNES classic. Thanks to the community you can played most games without having to hack the system itself if you want. You can even play with the PS4 controller as well. My advice is to get it if you are planning on going all the way and modding the thing, if you are on the fence get it for half the price and enjoy some of the games in here. But if you are just curious then stay far away from this and get yourself a RetroPie or emulate it on you PC.

Device is okay out of the box, but with further research you can easily modify the console to run the games better and all kinds of other tweaks such as editing your games library, adding a USB Wi-FI dongle and enabling Retroarch and many other things. Is an excellent emulation device one this is done.

For the games it comes with it not worth full price. But when on sale it ok. Lil harder to jail break but still able to.

Loved playing some of these old games. I only wish there were mie to choose from I should have loved to have silent hill.

We have fun with this old games, it’s good that it comes with two controllers. Got it on sale for 19, great price.

As a unit, it works fine but the games leave a bit to be desired. Some are great throwbacks, others, i feel, are missing **cough**Tony Hawk**cough** It is a fun device like the 2 Nintendo versions before it but it doesn't hold the same OMG feeling that those two devices did ... at least for me.

OK, SONY REALLY MESSED UP WITH THE LIST OF GAMES AND OUT OF ALL THIER EXCLUSIVE TITLES THEY OWN. THIS IS WHAT THEY CAN COME UP WITH. YOU CAME OUT WITH A CLASSIC TO MATCH UP WITH THE NES AND SNES CLASSIC, BUT COULDN'T SURPASS THEM. I ONLY BOUGHT IT TO KEEP IT AS A COLLECTORS ITEM..

I'm glad it comes with two controllers but I wish they were the dual shock controllers. I think the original PS1 controllers is all-time bad. I also don't think the game selection is optimal. Twisted Metal 1? 2 was so much better. Where is Harvest Moon Back to Nature?

I know as a fan we are all upset because some true fan favorites were left out. Overall as a collecter its a must have.

Great with a 128 usb flash drive and OTG adapter. Two controllers, awesome!

This system is well built but Sony should have included more than just 20 games.

It's good to share with my son they beginning of true console playing. He made fun of some of the games because of how all they obviously are... But we both enjoyed hours with a few good ones included with the classic... teken, resident evil and grand theft auto was hilarious because it doesn't compare to what the game is now.. but it's fun to see how the game was in its infancy...

There were so many other games that should have been on this classic system. Picture quality is horrible on some of the games. Does not come with a power block (just a usb). Looks just like the first PS, great details, but what is inside the system could have been a lot better...if u want retro gaming, go with the classic Nintendo series.
