Got it when it was on sale for $20. Very worth it at that price point. Game selection is not good, compared to other retro consoles. You need to make sure it's plugged into at least a 10w (5v@2A) USB port, otherwise it won't power on.

Got it for real cheap & once you mod it, its awesome.

I got mine on sale for twenty dollars. For that price, it’s worth it. I grew up with all the OG systems and still have them, but this mini version is easier to use on my desk. Definitely don’t expect a great library, everyone knows that, but for the price it’s fun.

This could have been so much better. The emulation on this system was poor. The main complaint are the frame rates. as far as the hardware everything looked and felt like the original

I'm a sucker for these "mini" consoles, but man, Sony could've done a far better job on this. There's some great classics in the library, but too few to make up for the more mediocre/less memorable ones. It sticks to authenticity with the original PS1 controllers, but the analog sticks are necessary by modern standards. I can't imagine playing any PS1 game without them. It's ultimately just become a shelf nick-knack that looks cool alongside my other mini consoles, but I don't see myself loading this one up anytime soon...

There's no surprises or mysteries here, it plugs in and you have access to some of the best games ever made. How much would you spend for a functioning copy of final fantasy 7? Or metal gear solid? I don't think I've made a better 20 dollar purchase in my life.

Love playing my childhood games. It is really easy to use.

Love the quality, the controllers are great and the HD input really helps out. Bad catalog of games, but can be modify to be your personal collection all in one. 20 dollars worth it.

While it was nice to visit the past there are very few games that I really enjoyed. It was fun for a minute but the novelty wore off quickly.

Slightly disappointed as I loved the original Playstation. No power cord but like the compact console as i have it under my bar for play. Games available are ok.

I enjoy all these retro console releases but this is probably the worst one - built quality is only so-so and the graphics have not stood up to the test of time very well. However, its still a must buy if you can get it at its more recent $25-30 price tag.

It’s terrible for the included games, but if you replace the firmware and load in retroarch, you can emulate almost all 8 and 16 bit systems. Plus PSP and obviously PlayStation. So it becomes awesome after you do that, but you must be very technically inclined to know how to do all that.

Is it as good as the nes or snes Classic? Not at all

Would definitely recommend, wish it came with more games!

Sony you could have done way better very disappointed it will be worth it when you can mod it with the real classic games everyone wanted and it doesn't play or feel like you playing in slow mo
