This is what it should have been. Grabbed this guy for 1/4 of the original MSRP with a USB Stick and made it play like it should have played from the get go. Do yourself a favor and grab one of these on sale, but don't forget the extra USB stick...

Lots of people had fond memories of the PlayStation, and had high hopes for this little box. The actual execution was not great, but is probably worth a purchase when it is on sale.

If you've read anything about the PlayStation Classic, it probably hasn't been good. But I kick myself everyday for having sold my old consoles. While I could buy a used PS and games to fulfill my old games cravings, buying a retro classic console with a handful of games I would play (Syphon Filter, MGS, Ridge Racer, Rayman) was worth it. And with the recent price drops, I think it's a no brainer. I would buy more games for it if I could and I'm hoping that becomes an option down the road (I'm looking at you hackers).

This thing is amazing! Takes you right back to the old school video games you loved. Guys who still regularly game may not appreciate that nostalgia, but I haven’t really played video games regularly since the PS2.

I bought this for 99 dollars and received a 25 dollar BB gift card. Our teenage boys, ages 17 and 14 loved the old school games. They were so surprised how much the console controllers have changed. I was quick to remind them, this was what I had growing up.

It’s not as good as any of the Nintendo Mini Consoles and unfortunately the game selection is mediocre, unless you plan to hack it.

Gave last night to boyfriend for early christmas gift, he was so excited about it as he missed his one he had as a kid. Only thing that stinks is it doesnt come with a AC plug which is silly for 100$.

The problem is not the games, you know the selection so you knew what you were buying. However it doesn’t come with the ac adapter which is weird. The games are ok at best you’ll probably have to up the brightest on your tv. I’m writing this after using it for a half hour and telling you that there are better options out there and won’t cost $100

Pre-ordered this and was very disappointed after receiving the final product. Seems like Sony wanted to just make quick money in the vein of Nintendo's classic consoles, but their product was poorly executed. Pretty much in-line with all of the critical online reviews you may have read. PAL games play terrible, none of the games seem to load efficiently, poor game save implementation, and questionable game selection. Disappointed especially after paying full price, then having the price dropped 40% only a month after release.

Honestly was not impressed with the selection of games available here. But luckily the modding scene has really made this thing shine. Was able to add in all of my favorite games on to this little system and all I needed was this and a flash drive.

The Playstation Classic is a great deal at $40. It's pre-packed with 20 classic PS1 titles and super easy to add more and change up the user interface to something more pleasing with the likes of AutoBleem. If you're an old school Playstation gamer, this is definitely a neat little set-top box for around $40-$50.

I should've waited till it went on sale but other than that I like it. It brings back all the memories of playing the original PS wish it had more game or better game at that.

its just as bad as others have reported but luckily thing were figured out to make it fully useable. Fine for collecting but it has to may flaws to anything other than ok.

great for Playstation fans, specially the one who played these games in the past, great value if purchased in offer, not on par with the graphics level of today, but it does the job maybe a smaller screen Tv would be better to play this console.

At $20 on sale, totally worth the purchase ! Don’t be intimidated by just the 20 preloaded games and what other people have negative to say. Just hack/mod the console with Bleemsync or Autobleem & add all your fav. ps1 games and more from before !

It's cute, has a nice build quality, but it's brought down by poor emulation. Though with a little work and research you can do alot with it. For $20 it's not bad at all.

great selection of games. easy to hook up. I had to return the one I purchased as it was a gift and the person already received one. I played their's and it was quite fun. Brought me back in time.
