I was excited to pick up the day it was released. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to read the reviews. The reviews were spot on. The clarity was awful as well as the choice of games.

Sony was late to the show that Nintendo started and screwed it all up. Don’t buy this if you want to play the games. But it if you think it’s cute and display it somewhere

As an accurate miniature of the original PS1, this is fantastic. Too bad the game selection is not great and the emulation is terrible.

With the most recent price drop of the playstation classic. It has just cleared being worth the purchase. This is not the super nes or the new classic. Which both had excellent features like rewind and new titles first time releases in the U.S. This is a mostly bare bones emulator with a cool plastic package. The game titles are not the classic sort of listing. Missing several games that made playstation a "Classic". As for hardware, it works decently enough. Comes with 2 controllers and functional buttons on the small system itself that help reset games and change discs for multi-disc titles. I would only pick this up at a budget price below 25 dollars. Otherwise spend you money on the SNES or NES Classics instead. Which are why far more superior and run games insanely better then this bargain bin subpar classic named retro machine.

However, once you own the device you can do anything you want to it. Fan made "upgrades" makes this a bargain, however it does require some work and lots of research online.

The PSC is a great value for the games contained and it's ability to expand. Do some internet searching and you can find ways to make even better use of this emulation box. Having fun playing old favorites and games I never had the chance to play.

Eh needs more games and better graphics. There are some mods you can buy but it gets pricier to do that. Nintendo did theirs better unfortunately.

I’m happy to get a ps1 classic but the game selection was terrible for this. It still has some games that I love but overall it’s an ok system that leaves you wanting much more.

Gotta say Sony let me down on this one they had such a good opportunity to jam this with so many great games instead they put games I never heard of. Only two are classic games

Only reason I gave two stars is because I got it for $24.99 and hacked it otherwise you’d be better off with a PlayStation TV

Not bad! I caught this on sale and felt it was well worth it. It has a decent selection of games, a few that are hard to find real copies of. The controllers are proprietary and not dual shock and you need to get your own USB power adapter (it comes with the cable) but I can live with those issues.

Sony had a great chance to 1up nintendo with their classic PS1. So many great games but only a few are included. I got this really cheap, otherwise not a buy for me.

Great product if you’re a PlayStation fan with enough knowledge to get this working at full potential. Do some research on which games come with this, as there are a few that don’t perform as well here.

This is the closest you will get to the height of the 90’s in game history and for the price currently this is a steal. It has some of the best games on its catalog with a built quality that is amazing. The potential of adding additional games later on for those that are tech savvy is also there.

This console is a neat gift, if you don't like the person that you're giving it to. It lacks some very important games. Looks cool in between my two real PS1s though.

A classic!!! Love the fact that ypi get a piece of memorabilia however the PS classic is NOT the best out there. Rather stick with nintendo

The system is executed well, but the issue is that the games from this error don’t translate well graphically. It’s a descent buy at a reduced price.

If you want it for collection then go ahead and buy it but if you want it only for gaming you will be disappointed with the some of the games included and the slow gameplay

Compared to the execution of the Nintendo classics, this isn’t very good. Also, the game choice is not great. But I only paid $25 and so worth it at that price.

I like to collect these many consoles and for that reason alone it is worth the $25 I paid. I have no intention of playing it because there are way better games out there to play but to add to the collection it's definitely a good deal.
