Sony dropped the ball on what could've been an amazing machine. The lineup is so-so at best and they should've at least went with the dualshock controller

If you're a retro gamer and collector and can find this on sale in your price range, it has solid build quality, functions well and looks great on the shelf. The games play fine, but it definitely doesn't feel like as much love was put in to the interface and emulation as Nintendo's. This is not the awful, horrific product some reviewers have made it out to be, but I agree the games list is not amazing. Odd note: One pet peeve is that the USB port on my Sony 4k TV is apparently not strong enough to power this, even though it will power my NES and SNES Classics...

This would be a 2 star item if you couldn't modify the console. But you can use a USB stick with other firmware to make this an emulation machine... Which is awesome! 5+ stars for that alone.

I do not play video games myself. I purchased a few of these systems for my son and some family members who grew up on the original play station. they simply love this system primarily because it is preloaded with 20 of the classic games that made it so popular back in the day.

At the price I got it, I'm going to focus on the physical. The case is amazing in detail and the controllers are 100% legit. The software is just so-so.

The playstation mini does not come.close to the she's or nes classic. The console just lacks great games, many of the games on the system are mediocre.

I was excited for this when it first was announced but then I saw the games list and was disappointed. Main reason I bought this was because it was $20.

Sorry Sony, but you missed the mark. The game selection is but the overall experience is poor. No way to adjust emulator settings No Dual Shock controller

Don’t ever pay full price for this but if you can get it for $30 or less it’s fine Some of the games are slower than they originally were when released

I got this only for a handful of games it offers but, it was worth it. Luckily at the time of purchase it was still going for $99 but it was an “open box” item so got it 1/2 off. FF7 is still as awesome as when I first played it.

Decent console, got it at a massive discount. Nostalgia is great, but you'd be better off playing these games on an emulator.

Worth every penny for Final Fantasy 7! Resident Evil is a blast from the past and so is Metal Gear. Totally brings me back to my childhood, staying up late playing video games.

It first released at 99 dollars but was not worth close to that. it has video quality issues as many of the games are not sinked to USA frame rates. many of the games are only so so titles also. However, when the price went down to 20 dollars I bought 3 of them. I think they are worth that price point. since then they have gone back up in price again. I'll wait and see if they go down again and get a few more as gifts for PlayStation fans in my family.

The OG Playstation started many of us on our paths to life long gaming. The Playstation Classic continues that tradition by bringing a very welcome sense of nostalgia back to lifelong gamers.

Great if you want it as a nostalgic collector's item. Other than that the game choices were not up to par when compared to other classic systems.

It was dirt cheap, otherwise won't get. A few games are ok, not a good buy if you pay more than $20 which is what I paid for it.

Kinda missed out on games they put on it. Lots of games I feel like they missed. Kind of underwhelming.

It was the perfect prize and perfect gift! We are great fans of PlayStation! We enjoyed the console so much works perfectly and brings back old memories of our childhoods! Thanks best buy for lowering the price again!

I love reliving the old days playing these games with my friends. Great selection of games and nice small/compact system. Wish there were a few other gems like Kileak DNA Imperative and some other Resident Evil Games.

Playstation Classic is a well built system and has great controllers. It does not feel cheap like you would with knockoff clones out there. You get the 20 included games but you can add more. Emulation is great on here.
