Unlike other retro consoles, the 3D graphics of the PSX don't hold up quite as well. While there are some classics included (FF7), it isn't as compelling as the micro versions of the SNES or the upcoming Genesis. These units often go on sale, so I'd recommend grabbing it if it is deeply discounted. Otherwise, there are plenty of other ways to play the included games.

I haven't opened it and probably won't, but I didn't buy it for purpose of using it. And the $25 I got it for was GREAT..!!!!!

The games on the system are good but there's just not enough of the classics.

II bought this item hoping to recapture my youth in 90’s. Unfortunately that will have to stay in the 90’s because this thing sucks because most games are awful bad the good games for the PlayStation in the 90’s are not even on here. Unfortunate because Nintendo made it happen with their retro consoles releases.

Console comes with 2 wired controllers and alot, but not all, of the classics from the ps1. For $20, it is a great bargain.

The games and ports are of low effort, but its still nice having "new" old controllers and using HDMI instead of other methods to play these. Worth it for the sale cost.

If you love to collect gaming consoles, this is it. Wish they had more of the classic Playstation games but the 20 are good.

Great for nostalgia, playing older games and hearing those old startup sounds is so much fun. My only complaint is the length of the controller cords out of the box.

Sony missed the mark with most aspects of the PS Classic, but it still has some value. There is some great games and the ability to do save states is very nice, especially with all the old school games. If you are a PlayStation fanatic, check it out.

Purchased for my hubby so he could play metal gear solid, a game he loved when he was growing up. He said his only complaint is that the cords for the controllers are short.

Sony could have made something really great but failed on so many things just looking through other reviews you can easily tell what they are. Game list is poor, gameplay is poor. Only positive I can give it is that it looks really cool and the controller is an authentic ps1 that’s about it. Not recommended.

This is a great system if you waited for the price to drop. It was not worth the MSRP, but at the lower price it's a steal.
