Very compact so it is great for trips. Not very many games and at least half of those are not great. $20 is a good price but I would spend more than that.

Sony definitely dropped the ball on making a retro console. With a very lackluster interface and slow game performance to me this is nothing more but a nice collector peace. At almost $100 when it first released I did not see such a value on it. Now after a year the units are selling for about $20 each, at that point I can justify this purchase.

Great controllers, cables, and games for only $30! Beyond worth it for the controllers and cables alone, the games don't run the best but it all works!

I got this for $20, and unfortunately the games contained in the system aren't my faves, but getting those controllers is really nice for my pi build.

The games included are not the best. For every classic like Metal Gear Solid, there are horrible additions like Rainbow Six that have aged terribly. If you can find the console for cheap, it’s worth it for the nostalgia alone. If you can get it for $20 or less you can consider it a very detailed Funko POP that happens to play games.

It's hard to believe that people played these games. They're all pretty horrible. Great for nostalgia, but not really fun otherwise.

This Sony playstation classic console includes 20 game built in. The selection of games is ok but not my favorite. But overall it's a good system. It's very compact and easy to connect. I would recommend but wished it had more games like the nes classic or snes classic.

This brings back a lot of great memories. Wish they had the DualShock controllers and some better titles but still a quality nostalgic game system.

System could have many more games then it comes with however for the price and not worrying about discs it’s a great little gift

Not as good of a selection of games as NES Classic but the price was too great to pass up. Worth it for Resident Evil and GTA alone!

Bought this when it went on sale for $20. It could've been better with a more broader game selection but can't go wrong with price.

I mainly purchased this to add to my collection of retro game consoles. I really like how it looks and that’s the reason why I gave it 4 stars. I have to admit the games that are included aren’t so great. Everyone knows the PS had way better games than the ones included. But for $19.99 I decided that was a good price for collection purposes. If it had 30 games like the NES Classic including some of their best games like crash or spyro, then I would have given it 5 stars but that’s not the case unfortunately.

This console has worked well, and is a wonderful stroll down memory lane for some that play with me. It came with two controllers which is great because I didn’t have to search for another to play with friends! They’re quite short, the controllers, but we adjust. My goal is to collect all the older gaming consoles, and this was my first purchase. And who can beat the price!

Based on the device alone, this would be 3 stars. The selection of games is decent for a nostalgia trip to the 90s, but there are issues with emulation and of course no games with analog stick support. After loading some custom firmware (Google Project Eris) it unlocked a lot more potential from this device to do more than what it was originally intended to do. And that's what makes it 4 stars.

Great once you mod it. Well worth it once you factor in the discounted price and capabilities of the system after modding it.

The design looks great and really reminds you of the original PlayStation. However, I think the game offering could have been better.

Best Buy had a really good price on this, $29 I think. Some people complain about it being bad but I have played most of the games on it and I don't see any real problems. The audio could be a bit better but it doesn't really detract from the games too much in my opinion. The only game I think I noticed it at all was FF7, but I played that originally on PC with a proper Yamaha GS soundcard which always sounded better than the PS1 version anyway. All in all, at $29 I think it is totally worth it.

Out of the box the PS Classic leaves a lot a to be desired unfortunately...when you compare this to any of the previous mini units from Nintendo or the more recent Sega Genesis mini it is quite a disappointment with some glaring omissions. However this unit can be modded to add emulation capabilities which adds a ton to the value of this little device. But again if you are just trying to buy this as a pick up and play without any additional modifications I really cannot recommend.

First off, the Playstation Classic isn't as bad as people on Youtube make it out to be. Yes some of the games run on PAL and not NTSC which in turn makes those PAL games play at 50 fps. But my biggest complaint is not having the dual analog stick controller for the games. Don't get me wrong, the original playstation controllers are nice and buttons seem nice but I would've like the dual analog sticks. Thats why I couldn't give it 5 out of 5 stars. Everything else about the Sony Playstation Classic is nice.
