Great for collectors and those who are nostalgic for classic Playstation games. This doesn't offer much outside of that though. At full price, it is not worth it, but I managed to get it for under $20 so I don't think it was a bad deal.

It's a good product but only if you wait to get it in discount, because Sony could do a better job in this one, but the lack of jewels games from the PS1 era, makes it a big disappointment. Still it's a good piece to have it on display, and remember the good old days.

This item is not spectacular, at $100 it would be a two star, but at 20 bucks, it's well worth it. It would be a little better if it came with the AC plug not just the cord. But you can pick those up for dirt cheap

The preloaded games aren't quite the best selection of PSOne titles, but for the price, it's a decent value for those that want a nostalgia fix.

Almost... Who the heck chooses the games? I can name at least 20 other games that would have been better... Anyway, it’s great for what it does. As with all these mini systems I wish the controllers had longer cords.

having access to retro PS1 games in a mini device is awesome the choice to have the PAL inferior version of the games instead the the original America region is not. This was Sony rushing out a product that wasnt fully thought through to get a quick cash grab through nostalgia and insult their customers while then playing the “see no one likes retro games” card. i bought this when the price dropped to $20 and honestly only for Persona revelations but the good news is that you can get it hacked and make it much better than it is out the box.

Missed potential. Okay for the price if you’re able to get it for around $40. The game library could be so much better but it’s all in all not bad.

Really wanted something else with this from Sony. Being a hardcore Sony fan, still have to admit that Sony really put minimal effort into this retro console launch. It does have about 3-4 can't miss classic games but getting the PAL versions of certain games is just an inexplicable (even though a 'hack' exists t o get the NTSC version. If you have no other option to get ahold of these games, the new reduced price is a good time to get this. Sad that this lifelong Playstation fan can't fully recommend what could have been a perfect retro console. :(

I love this thing as a little PS1 emulation machine. I use it with a software called BleemSync to play other games. It's a lot of nostalgia fun. I wouldn't buy it for the included games though, as the selection is pretty weak.

You’ve heard all the the bad about the PlayStation classic and for the most part it’s all true but if you can get it on sale it well worth it. I got it when it was on sale for $40 and I was able to get an open box one for about $35. I am happy with it for that price.

PlayStation is definitely trying to copy Nintendo's success of the classic consoles, this would be much more successful if the games chosen were more thought out and they listened to what fan's actually wanted.

I bought 2 of these to give to friends in the Philippines. These don't need an internet connection and will run on any usb phone charger (no issues with different electric systems). Only requirement is that the TV set has a HDMI port. Perfect for over there.

For a console with only 20 specific games maximum, a lot of those games being obscure or unplayable nowadays, definitely not worth the $100 it was originally sold for. At $20 though you DO get a couple classic rpgs and action games like FFVII, Wild arms, Persona, Resident Evil, Tekken 3, and Oddworld. Theres also a couple I hadn’t heard of before that were surprisingly fun with a friend. The only other problem is storage. I recommend 1-2 save slots per game MAX, and use the “resume point” function as frequently as possible.

The system looks nice. I wish the controllers were the dual shocks. Game selection is baffling. Emulation is poor. Wait for this to be discounted

I purchased this during the 4th of July sale. It was 20 bucks. There are 20 playstation games. That's a dollar per game. I would have paid that for Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII alone. This little monster comes with 2 USB playstation-styled controllers that look just like the original. All cables included. It's powered from a cell phone type Micro USB charger and connects to a display via HDMI. I have mine connected to my computer monitor. It sits on my desk at work, for those rare slow nights. Everyone, that stops by my desk, comments on this throwback console. Now I feel like one of the cool kids. It even comes in a box that looks like the original. Thanks Sony and Best Buy, this is awesome!

The mini Ps1 really bring back my childhood memory. Easy to hook up, easy to store. Especially it comes with regular size remote control. For the price it totally worth it.

Brings back nostalgia it I wish they had added better games. Recommended at the sale price. Def not worth the $99 it started out as.

This PlayStation classic brings back all those feelings of playing the original. The only problem is it feels like a lot more classics are missing from the system.

The Sony Play Station Classic Console is nostalgic…it is nice to have this many games codified on one platform. The price was 50 percent off the original retail price, which made it a worthy purchase.

Overall it's a good buy if you want to remember the old days of PS1 glory, but some of the games loaded on the system could have been replaced with better titles.
