I bought this as a christmas gift for my wife (we are both gamers) I unfortunately bought this item on pre-sale at $100 and in my opinion is not worth that much considering the games it has. Overall it's great as a gift for someone who used to have a PS1 as a kid

I thought a little nostalgia would be fun. Cranked up some Destruction Derby and other old faves from my PS1 days. It was fun for a day. After being on a PS4 and Xbox One, it just isn't the same. But $30 for a few evenings of fun is cheap these days.

I order the console online for a lower price because I did not want it at full price. For what I spent I got a few hours of fun but I finished the good games quickly and a lot of the rest I was not interested in. Also, the controls in game are a bit difficult because the console uses gen 1 style controllers without joysticks unlike my original PlayStation. You cannot download additional games to it unless you Hack into it with third party software. If I bought this item at full price I would have returned it.

Ok system, but seems like better games could have been picked and not the best performance. Glad I bought when it got cheap.

Bought this as a gift & it was a total hit! Went back to buy 3 more to gift. Keeps all gamers entertained. Poor reviews were due to selection of games but I bought for $19.99 can’t beat that price

Bought this gem when it had a nice price cut and have to say that it's a pretty nice little bit of nostalgia. There could have been a better game selection but for the price, it wasn't that bad.

This brings me back to my childhood of the games I loved playing growing up. HDMI small and compact as well can be placed anywhere. Even comes with the original style controllers. I love it.

If it bought this at launch for the $100 I would have felt disappointed but on sale for $30 is well worth this purchase. Look and the list of games and make the decision if there is games you want to replay or like me missed the first time around and want a chance to play some PS classics. The drawbacks is the lack of USB plug that is not supplied, you get a USB cable and HDMI cable but no outlet plug so you need to use one of you own. If your anything like me you likely have one or two laying around but if not its another purchase. Another drawback is the length of controller cable. 6ft was fine back in the day when I would sit in front of a 12" inch TV (how far we have come) but in this day in age sitting that close to a 65" TV just doesn't work so some cable extenders are also a must. Despite its drawbacks I am still happy with the purchase.

For those of you who love the classic genre you won't be disappointed though 9 of the games are the UK Imports at 50 Hearts so they may seem a little slow or choppy at times depending on your TV but as for the rest you won't be disappointed pick one up today

Worthless without modding it. Add more games and its awesome. Otherwise it sucks. But its worth the 20$ i paid.

The PlayStation Classic Console has all the fun games you grew up playing. It's so much fun playing all these games again. It's compact in size.The only thing I don't like is I wish you could use wireless controllers with it other than that we love it.

Retro gaming it is...... lots of games but not much of the ones you’re gonna care to play more frequently. The nostalgia was worth the price. I got this unit on sale with my BB points. Can’t beat that deal.

The ports are well done, but the games themselves are tough to go back to. This generation did not age as well so this might be a good buy if what you are looking for is to go back to the games you played, not to play them for the first time.

I only brought this system because of nostalgia. I was 5 years old when the Playstation was released. When I turned on the system, the UX/UI of the menu was mediocre and lazy. They could've added at least five more games, and it can get boring to play after a while. The only good thing about the system is that it has Final Fantasy VII. Other than that, don't buy if you're expecting great system quality. The quality is medicore, let alone they tried to copy their competitors.

I had high Hope's for this retro console but Sony did not put in the effort that Nintendo did... the interface is simple and Sony used a free emulator to run their games instead of making a more stable one to run the playstation 1 games. I really was hoping they were going to do more charging so much for this unit when it came out. Weeks after the release they realized their mistake and dropped the price 50%!

Its a fun little gaming system at a very reasonable price. Game choices are not the best but it can be fun in short spurts.

The list of games is solid, but missing a few no-brainers like Turismo or Blood Omen. Should have had 25 to justify the high cost, and the USB charger is absurd not to include a wall mount. Still, at 5 bucks/game it's a fun trip down memory lane.

It doesn't come loaded with WarHawk or Gran Turismo, but it does have a few games i like playing. Would be nice if it was able to link up with the PS store so downloading other older games from the PS1, but alas it isn't set up for that.

The system is built well, and the controllers are like you remember, but the amount and selected games on the system are lacking.

It’s an entertaining little bugger, but it just doesn’t have the same nostalgic blockbuster titles that the competitor features. It is a nice design and plays the old games faithfully.
