Super awesome to have for nostalgia. but the original price is ridiculous. if you get this for 60 or below do it! It's fun and a great way for kids to start playing!

Want to feel young again? The first Play station came out when I was in college, so this thing is super nostalgic for me!! Full size controllers, yes younget 2 of them and a bunch of games pre-loaded? Well, I bought it for Cool Boarders 2, which is one of my all time favorite video game series, so I really enjoy this little unit! It should come with a USB plug, but whop doesn’t have 6 or 7 of those kicking around?? Great buy and lots of entertainment packed into this thing. Get one!!! You’ll love it!!

while the PlayStation didn't stand up to the rest of time IMO if you can get this for under $40 it's worth playing a little bit and makes a great display piece

This is a cheap nostalgic device... It could be better as it lags some and it isn't the true ps1 feels but for the price I think if hits the mark.

If your going to just use it as is out of the box, it has a pretty bad library, I mean no parapa the rappa, what was Sony thinking. You can put custom firmware and spice it up and It becomes something special. Just look it up. So I give it 3 stars as to some it will be the best thing ever to other it will collect dust and won't be worth the price.

Bought on sale for $20. Definitely worth it at that price point. Controllers feel awesome. Happy with my purchase.

I got it on sale and for the price I paid it’s definitely worth it. You can look up videos and tutorials on how to maximize your potential with this.

I Wasn't too high on this when it first came out. Just thought the preice was too high but with 50% + since then, it's a much better deal. Old memories.

Not as good as the nintendo classics. You can hack it to add your own games which makes it better. However as it is it's just ok.

Out of the box, it's just "meh". A decent emulator, with a few of the better OG PS1 games. After a little bit of tweaking (check out reddit/PlaystationClassic), this little box has the potential to be an absolute BEAST! At the $99 price point, I would say to go with a Raspberry Pi for your emulation needs. However, I was able to grab this for $15 ($20-$5 BB reward) so it was a great value. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would do it again in a second.

Final Fantasy 7 was the reason I bought this game. The selection isn't the best but it still has a few good games.

It's not too bad if you're looking for a few nostalgia games. Sony really hit the mark when they didn't include classics like Resident Evil 2, Twisted Metal 2, Gran Turismo, and other classics that would've been better rather than the ones that are included. I would only say you should buy this if you're collector and you need it part of your collection.

The system is excellent, however the game selection needs work. Classics like metal gear , but also some duds too.

Too few games but the price was right! Works well and is cool but Sony dropped the ball because it could have been much better.

A little disappointed in the game selection provided, but more so that the price was so high compared to Nintendo's offerings. And now BBY is selling it at a comparable price just weeks after it's release and I'm going to have to try to get a price-match. Still, for nostalgia's sake, it's an ok little system and kinda fun, but not worth more than $50.

Wortg purchasing for nostalgia alone. If you were a fan of the original playstation, this tiny replica packs 20 classics to go down memory lane with.

I think this was a rush to compete with another company releasing classic machines. Unfortunately, the ball was dropped and a lot of signature titles were not released with the machine. If you are a collector or a hardcore fan then this is for you. If you are a casual player looking for a page of the history book then this is a terrible representation.

I know everyone is hating on this and I agree at 99 it was too expensive, but around $50 me and my boys love it.

This brings me back to when I was younger. Not sure why Sony decided to use some PAL versions of games for an NTSC market.

I bought this for two reasons, to mod some games into it and to have some really good ps1 controllers to use on my PC. Both worked out great. $20!
