Was a great idea when I got it but now regret the purchase, Wish there was better game line up and now actually wanting to take it to trade in. Due yourself a favor and go with the original or get a ps 2 instead both backwards capability you’ll be better off.

This console has a lot of great games. Probably worth the money, especially if its on sale.

Good system should have included better games though price drop helps but we paid too much at 99

The price may be low but it's because of the limited selection of good games, the games on the system are not bad don't get me wrong but there should have been many more all-time favorites that would have done it's original $80 price tag more justice.

I go this for a very cheap price which made it worth it, fun to relive past games

For those video game buffs. This is a great way to go back in time. Only wish it had better games.

If you get a good price grab one. you can add games to it later via a jump drive.

This is a fun mini system at a low price. The game lineup should have been better though.

I have no idea why Sony chose pal versions of its games but it's resulted in heavy stutter on some games. Buy it, softmod it, then put on better versions of the games you want. Runs Atari through PSX if you know what you are doing

I like this machine. It could've had more iconic games on it. But overall I think it's good.

I advise to only get this if: A) You are a collector. B) Seems like fun and you have nothing else to spend the money on. OR C) The Nostalgia fullfillment makes it worth it for you. For any other reason you are better of spending you money on other things.

This is probably the worst retro console. Features and games are limited. Supposedly it can be hacked which increases its value. For $100 I would pass on this one. For $20, its worth a shot.

The Playstation Classic was definitely worth it at the $20 price point I got it for on sale, but beyond that its very hard to recommend. The emulation itself is just alright, but gets the job done, and the game list is rather lacking. There are some huge hits such as Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, or Final Fantasy VII, and even some hard to find hidden gems like Intelligent Cube but there is some obvious padding in the list. While obviously it is hard to make a list that will please absolutely everyone, there are some odd ball choices that I think could have been swapped with better options. It is also unfortunate that the controllers lack the analog sticks of future revisions. Makes sense since they want to stick to the original launch but still makes it harder/more annoying to play certain 3D titles.

Main Reasons for 2Two Stars: Limited Function...Restricted use to another Online Gaming Console. Offline Gaming There-in is NOT Offline Gaming. Some AWESOME is Meant to be PRIVATE...like Secrets...can Not do that Online. That is OUTSIDE of Game Hi-Jacking, Game Cheats, Cheat Codes, Game Secrets...and Known Intended Game Use. It tends to be more FUN...when you know Strangers Are Not watching. Seems to function Only when plugged in Playstation Game Consoles...not liking that. From what I know...only a PS4 allows This Device to be functional...possibly a PS3...perhaps a PS2...not certain. Like that requires an Online Capable Device-specifically referencing towards Playstation Game Consoles-only to turn on and function appropriately. Using Online Capable Game Consoles...seems like Online & Offline Gaming is being observed. Unpleasent..., because that is like observing for learning tips & to increase Difficulty to interfere with typical Gaming. Not Liking That...especially being observed while gaming...does not sound pleasent to have someone actively sabotaging your gameplay to give you unnecessary stress-from upon eventually develops Health Issues...especially when things seem to become more difficult than they typically are...like Nonplayable Characters are being remote controlled for added difficulty. MEH. Has built-in Memory Card Space for each Game...I am liking that, because the Playstation's appearence is just For Show [FOR SHOW...Meaning...to be focused on Appearences Specifically, but not quite what that might appear to be represented as]. There seems to be Several many Save Spaces made Available...somewhere between 24 Save-Space-ports...then there shows an opposite side on same screen...insinuating there is another potential 24 Save-Space-ports...so possibly 48 Save-Space-ports per Game on Said PS Game Console. Each game has a separate Save-Space-Port called a Resume Point [Like Auto Save on Checkpoints]. So each Game on Said Game Console has a Guides Connection near the Memory Card Slot. Presumably why that requires an Online Capable Game Console connection to Function appropriately. For that is Linking Guides through the Internet...probably through Official Playstation Networking Channels on Legitimate Pro-Gaming Guides for Said Video Game. Qualities of Said Games are Like Original Releases...with Hi-Definition Link-Up...meaning Clearer Imaging...and Possible Touch-Ups [Touch-Ups...meaning Added Materials and Such]. Each Game has a Controlled Pre-Set made available [Meaning...you have the Option to keep Settings Customized and kept in-play Outside of Saved Games. You don't have to reset settings for each Game Save or Any Game Save...just a Standard applied to each Individual Game kept in Synchronization with different Game Saves. It's not bad, reminds me of the old ps1 but they could make it better by having more than 20 games. Some of the games are classics but others I've never even heard of and after playing I wont play them again

It's good for nostalgia. Some good games, wish it had some different ones.

Plays well and feels like the old sony games, but wish the games were better

I overpaid for this product. I wanted to have it in my collection. It isn't worth more than $20. The game selection isn't the greatest, but the Resident Evil franchise brings back memories. RE3: Nemesis would have made this a must buy.

Well worth the $20.00. Hours of fun. Very compact.
