    All three games are greatly remasterd but not are games you must play to enjoy the yakuza series.

    They are not bad games, is just that you repeat the same things over and over. They bored me as i could never get into the story. The city is small & all you do is run around the same blocks, fight the same people, play arcade, win prices, rinse & repeat. Only if you like the story behind it, otherwise is a no.

    Yakuza is one of the few series that age like wine. The story and combat do not feel archaic like many other remastered games. Although combat in 3 and 4 can feel stiff, they feel just right. The stories though are timeless, although I would write off Yakuza 4 as a first attempt at what they pulled off in Yakuza 5. Yakuza 3 is one of my favorites games of all time so getting to relive this in 1080p and smooth 60fps on my ps4 is awesome. I beat all 3 on my ps3, but the new coat of polish makes 3 and 4 feel like new games entirely although none look as good as Kiwami 2or Yakuza 6. Yakuza 5 feels like Yakuza 0 on the ps4.
