needed to increase system memory to work with windows 1o upgrade

The additional memory was necessary and this was easy install

I had an older system that I needed more memory in before I upgraded it to windows 10. It would only take 1 or 2 Gbyte modules and I was lucky to get these as most places only have 4Gbyte or larger modules in DDR3.

If you have a slightly older style motherboard say an LGA1150 socket style, this should work for you just fine, even if your ram speed only hits 1333mhz this ram will still work for you at that speed.

Needed to buy another memory. Since one of my 4gb Ram sticks crapped out. (Maxed out at 16). Been pleased. Use comp for video and photo editing

The memory worked fine out of the box, it was rated for a higher speed but was compatible with the speed in my computer. Worked out of the BOX!

Memory upgrades are one the easiest DIY projects you can do. This memory is well packaged and well built. Great improvement to my machine.

One of my memory modules in my desktop bit the dust. The Geek Squad guys recommended these as the replacement, and they worked great!

I was originally planning on buying some expensive top of the line ram, but when my instant gratification desire kicked in, I said what the heck and purchased this ram. I unpacked it and all in all the ram wasn't a terrible design. The style was all black with nice script XLR8 writing on it. Looked sleek. The heat sinks were minimal and essentially consisted of a black metal encasing around the ram, being held on by 2 very thin metal clips that could easily be pulled off when pulling the ram out of the motherboard. I installed the ram and had a Windows boot up error right out the gate. Not Happy! Same problem with the Trident X sticks I was replacing, so I started to think the motherboard was at fault but, tried using one stick at a time, and one worked without issue, and seemed very fast and responsive I might add, for being one stick of 4gb single channel.. Then tried the second, boot failure with a memory error. Turns out that one of the ram sticks was defective. I honestly didn't want to return the set, but as I had already paid more then these sticks were really worth. I returned the ram and the store had nothing relative in stock. I honestly believe if both sticks had worked....that the set would of ran terrific. I felt like the 4GB stick in single channel mode was running faster than my old G Skill Trident X 2GB Quad Channel set was operating but suffice to say that ram failed with countless errors across each stick....so they may not have been running right recently and isn't a fair comparison. Wish I could give an honest review but without testing both sticks and having gotten a bad stick out the package. I really can't give an honest opinion. I however do believe if both sticks had been good, I would probably leaving a positive 4 star rating.

Installed memory around 2/13/17 in a remote office I usually travel to once every 6 months. A month later and no issues. PNY isn't the top of my list when purchasing but it works in a pinch.

when first installed i thought my mother board was the problem. after trying ram on a number of pcs ranging from Intel to AMD, gigabyte asus and more that i had laying around, plus trying a few friends. it was clear that the ram was bad. ive had some problems with pny and this took the cake never buying pny ever again. but still a happy shopper with best buy.

Needed memory for a few PC's in the organization and Best Buy had it available and matched the price of online competitors.

Purchased 1 at full price of 79.99 was waiting for sale and bought the second pack, now have 16 Gigs of Ram running Great

If you're still using DDR3 RAM, you can't go wrong with these. Should be a little cheaper though...
