Needed more space so I upgraded to this drive. It works right from the start. Easy install and setup. Read and write speed comparable to other more expensive drive. Will buy gain.

Works fine. Maybe not the top-of-the-line Samsung EVO drive, but a cheap upgrade off of mechanical hard disks for older desktops/laptops. Give them a bit of extra pep in their step... Haven't had any fail early yet. Seems to work fine, have decent life. PNY is generally pretty reputable, IMO. [Granted, more known for their graphics cards and maybe thumb drives. But, this drive seems to work just fine and get the job done without too much fuss.]

Everything worked as advertised. It is a hard drive so if you plug it in and it works you are good to go.

I had a PS4 hardrive that went bad and replaced it with this. It isway smoother being that the ps4 had an HDD. Very easy to use

So good for price love it yay. It is very good if you are on a buget. Fixed an old laptop with it!

We use this to store video. I works great. It is HD video but not 4k. We don't know how it works at higher resolutions, but we assume it will work great.

Have used PNY 240/250 GB SSDs in the past. This worked just as well and happy how much faster it is over the 10 year old standard 7200 rpm that was due to be replaced.

Good value for money, seems to have good performance, excellent compared to any spinning platter drive. I have used about 8 of these to replace both laptop and desktop drives and not had any issues.

Its the speed of an SSD but the price of a HDD. Really great and reliable drive i would purchase again and recommend it to others.

These are great especially when on a budget. I have had no issues. I purchased 5 of these in the oast 2 years. Upgraded all my laptops, and basic old desktops.

Made my 12-year-old laptop run like new. The improvement in boot times is outstanding. Also very affordable.

This hard drive is reasonable and easy to use. After you format and initialize it, you can use it for any purpose you like. It has really great speed for 2.5” form factor and is super reliable, I’ve used many of these and never had any issues, Mac or Windows both work really well! If you need an SSD like this, you will get roughly same performance for this PNY as you would from any Samsung SSD in this form factor. I recommend it!

Great speed and space for just windows OS. Would buy again!

Sleek design, tough build , fast performance, easy to use

I can't say enough about this brand. I have recently purchased quite a bit of these drives to upgrade my pc's from their older ssd's. Very satisfied.

I bought it for a friend and had no problem cloning their info over to the PNY. After the clone, the PC's performance was just as good as any other PC with an SSD. The price was also VERY good!

So far it's worked flawlessly. Install was obviously straight forward plug and play. Absolutely love the purchase

Best Buy staff was a great help in recommending replacing an old hard drive with a new SSD drive. The change was dramatic... like getting a new computer. The turnaround time was quick, and the people were very professional.
