- A: AnswerNot sure about your laptop, go to the HP support website and look up that specific machine and see if it's compatible. This SSD uses standard data connectors. I can tell you that I swapped this model into an older PC that I was selling and it worked perfectly fine. Clean install of Windows 10 and it was good to go.

- A: AnswerUSE AND NVME SSD WHICH IS MUCH FASTER, THIS IS A SOLID BUY AS A STORAGE SSD BUT NOT GREAT FOR GAMING OFF OF AS IT IS SLOW. GET ONE WITH ONBOARD CACHE BUT THE NVME IS THE WAY TO GO FOR GAMING.
