Q: does someone have to replace my hard drive with this item? or can i just use it like a sd card?
A: Hi Michelle, thank you for contacting us. Please know that this is an internal SSD, so it is normally installed inside a laptop or desktop as a replacement/upgrade for the existing hard drive or SATA SSD. It does not work like an SD card that you can simply plug in and remove.
