I took my Windows 10 desktop computer to Geek Squad in Rivergate - was seeing the blue screen of death. Chris, at GS, without even starting the computer, said most likely my harddrive had gone bad. The original harddrive was 2 Terabyte. He suggest and sold me a 500 GB Sata Harddrive. It seems to work okay, but I'm still thinking the harddrive is too small. Also, when I went back to pick up my computer, Chris was not there - "in Kentucky." Without further work or discussion, I was told I could take the computer home - work completed. However, my computer is now a "hot mess!" When I start it, I get a black screen that states "Invalid configuration information - please run setup program" Time of Day not set - please run setup program Continue to press F1 key Change setup option press F2 Key Run on board dignostic press F5 I finally manage to get it rebooted each time. Also, somewhere along the way I no longer have WebRoot Secure Anywhere.

very dependable ssd drive perfect for a gaming computer.

So far, I've purchased 5 of these to refurbish laptops. Three were on over over the rated speeds (560/510ish read/write tested with CrystalDiskMark, but two lagged in write speeds at just 360MBs vs 500+ with all others. That said, these are extremely well priced. I've also bought several 1TB units and those have exceeded rated speeds. No duds. 4/5 stars for the inconsistent speeds.

The drive is great! The only negative is that software is not available for free to mirror hard drive.
