Used one to replace a bad mechanical hard drive in my friends 2016 HP laptop. I was able to recover the recovery partition an run it on the new PNY SSD and get it back to factory and install all the updates, Speed in Crystal disk was 560 read and 550 write. Laptop is a rocket ship now!!!

Ive purchased a lot of these drives over the past year for refurbishing old laptops and desktops for charity. Brjngs new life to old hardware, then install ChromeOS Flex, and you'll get several more years out of it.

I used the Geek Squad to add this SSD Memory. It works great. My complaint is not with the product. But when I picked it up the customer service rep was dreadful. Ignored me and played on her phone.

Excellent sata ssd ive been using them in customer machines for years and out of nearly a hundred ive only ever had 1 fail. Ive tried other brands and had a higher fail rate.

This PNY SSD IS Superior!!! This is the second one I purchase cause it works awesome and Installation is easy! I’ll definitely consider purchasing more PNY products in the future!

I'm don't remember what specific project I bought this for but I've been using it as a project drive for a couple months now and it's taken everything I've thrown at it. I used it to boot Ubuntu to see if an old motherboard still worked, I've used it with a SATA to USB cable a number of times as an external drive, most recently I used it to back up a PS4 while I did an upgrade to it's storage, and it worked great in all those cases. It's not the fastest SSD around and feels kinda cheap in the hands but it functions and doesn't ask any questions and that's what I need it to do.

I grabbed this drive to upgrade from an old HDD in an older iMac. It sped things up considerably and is working great!
