Awful performance for a low price.

Generally, I understand this to be an issue with capacitors on cheaply made storage controllers. I don't expect PNY to have the best performance, but I at least expect a USB 3.0 device to get more than 150 mb/s on average. This is barely better than USB 2.0 and I think I'll be using another brand from now on. I'd rather pay more to just not deal with this sort of thing.

Stores data, but is SLOW

The data arrived safely, but that speed is not what one expects from USB 3.0. I verified the problem is not my computer by transferring data to another flash memory, and the speed was about 25 times as fast as the transfer speed to this product. I don't know what the problem is, given the preponderance of favorable reviews here, but the low price of this item makes me wonder.

Locked in Write Protect After a Couple of Months

I have tried using different computers (Windows and Apple), multiple programs, and command line executables to remove the write protection, and all have been unsuccesful. Because of this I cannot recommend.
