Very poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a way to move files from my old MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Pro. In less than a day of use, this thing has failed completely. The drive will not read on any machine, Windows or Apple, thus I will be returning. I'd advise to look at other options.

Dead on Arrival

I returned it to Best Buy and they tested it and found it faulty too. Quick refund - Best Buy was great but this item is NOT.

Doesn't work
