My new laptop and tablet have 3.0 USB ports, and this drive was noticeable faster on both. Unfortunately my other PC's cannot take advantage of. If you have newer PC's this is just what you need.

I actually use it to stage large video files captured by my dual channel television card. Yes it is fast enough!
