    I installed a full version of Ubuntu 19.04 and made it removable. It performs well using btfs and the 3.1 USB port on the laptop. I get good response times and I can't tell I'm running off USB.

    I ran some benchmark tests against this device before using it and and was surprised at its superior performance for a flash drive. I actually use it to stage large video files captured by my dual channel television card. Yes it is fast enough!
