    The transfer speed is fast, but the drive does heat up quite a bit. There was nothing on the packaging to explain that you have to reformat the drive before it will accept large files. I didn't learn this until I had already transferred 80+ gigs of data, which meant wiping it all out, reformatting, and doing the transfer all over again. Would recommend, but not for heavy use.

    This product is durable. I have forgotten it in my pant pocket when it was thrown in the washer. After the washing and drying. Plugged it in and it still work. I like the faster speed since it USB 3.0
