    I have two 256 GB flash drives. This PNY and a SanDisk Ultra. Similar specs on both and they perform similarly when reading data. The difference is that the SanDisk slows down dramatically when writing large files. It starts out fast but slows down as it heats up. This PNY has been pretty consistent though. It does slow down after writing 10GB or so but still much better than similar specked SanDisk. P.S. I use this as an external hard drive for video editing. Extremely capable.

    Its very fast .Took me like 2 min to transfer the same amount of GB data as opposed to another usb sick, where Id spent like 15 min! I like the retractable part too. Vert good .
