Surprisingly small drive. Had the previous version which had more plastic. Write speeds are decent but not sure fast for large files. Read speeds about maxes out USB 2.

My flash drive has seen only mild to moderate use since October, 2015 for moving video & other media files between machines. While it had been fast & reliable, it died this past week for no apparent reason. Never exposed to weather/temperature extremes. I certainly expect more from a flash storage device than 1.5 yrs.

Good brand, liked it I filled it with bunch of movies and connected it with my HD TV....

This is my second one, newer design is smaller and thinner. Faster write speed on big files then USB 2.0 , but your experience may vary. Too early to say about durability.

Worked as expected. Stores photos for my use when transferring them to a permanent storage.

Terrific for basic needs of transporting larger files without needing an external hard drive.

It works. I did notice that you can access data on it quickly. I have never noticed that before.

I've had this unit for a long time and it's still going strong. I would definitely list it in the top three choices of flash drives that I've ever bought.

Tested the PNY against the comparable SanDisk on a Mac TimeMachine backup and found that it was much slower - the PNY was about 40% slower. Both were reformatted to the MAC APFS, so it is likely a slower read/write controller chip. The slider cover gets stuck, but this may improve with use.

I bought this for my tesla dash/sentry footage storage. Worked perfectly and was fast enough to scroll videos while in review mode.

PNY drives are awful. I've bought three of them over 2020 and 2021, and they are all now failed, and none lasted more than six months. I owned a 32GB USB 2.0 of a different model that failed after about six months, a 128GB USB 2.0 version of this same model that lasted a couple of months before failing, and a 128GB of this USB 3.0 model, which I have owned for less than three months, and just failed yesterday. These 3.0 ones are obscenely SLOW too. From the day I got it it was slower than some USB 2.0 drives I have from other brands. When my last PNY 128GB USB 2.0 drive failed I replaced it with a WD USB 3.0 drive, and that drive is at least 10, possibly 20 times faster than this PNY one ever was. I'm not exaggerating. I do video editing, so I'm transferring fairly large sized files commonly, and a file that will transfer to the WD in like 30 seconds would have probably takes 10 minutes to transfer to this PNY model, when it was still working that is. But for some reason yesterday it decided to switch to read only mode, and after spending all night and some of today scouring the internet on both my Mac and Linux computers trying to figure out how to fix it I have given up. It is broken, and from what I've read online it is probably a hardware failure, and the drive has set itself to read only mode to preserve the data that is still on it. Well I guess it's good that I was at least able to get most of the data off of it before I smash it with a hammer and throw it in the trash, but after these three huge failures in a short time with three different PNY thumb drive models I will never buy another PNY product again.

After geek Squad showed me how it works was easy. Still have some questions though.

Sony 65" 1080p smart 3D TV. Got on on a Wednesday and the TV broke on Saturday. Got my replacement the following Wednesday. So far so good. Love this TV but concern.
