Bought this "128" Gb flash drive and the drive only shows up as 120 Gb.. still enough storage for my purposes and hence not worth the hassel to return it.

I recently needed 8 thumb drives. There were ~20 on the hook for an item NOT ON SALE, and choices from several other manufacturers of the same capacity. I was not allowed to buy 8, only 3. Best Buy will no longer be my first stop as this limitation was unwarranted. I would have understood if the item was on sale, OR I was taking half or more of what was available, OR it was highlighted in a current ad... but none of the above applied. If an item is hanging on a hook for sale, it should be available to anyone agreeing to pay the price. The Manager said I could get 8 with a 'business account' but that account could not be created on a Sunday. I suppose I could have bought 3, left and returned to buy more without giving my bonus account number, but I didn't. I am incredibly disappointed with Best Buy's arbitrary quantity limitation and from now on, I will simply go elsewhere.

I use this to backup data to. After purchase, I stored data on it. 30 days later was doing my monthly backups when it froze. Brought back to Best Buy to exchange. No! only within 15 days. So, you have to call PNY get authorized, pay to ship to them, wait several days, and get back a unit that has different case design.
Unit works but is not what I expect in 3.0 performance. I've got 2.0 USB thumb drives that outperform this thing. AVOID.
If you must buy this at Best Buy, leave it plugged in for the first 15 days so it burns in or blows up.

Locked in write protect mode after only a couple of months using it. I have tried using different computers (Windows and Apple), multiple programs, and command line executables to remove the write protection, and all have been unsuccesful. Because of this I cannot recommend.

Product is good enough for now, but it has not been long enough to say. However, the Customer Service at the store I was at was not good! and caused me delay in receiving the product promptly. They are understaffed and Un-Knowledgeable. Not all but the ones I dealt with? If you are selling Tech Gear you should be able to advise your customers on the best/quickest way to receive the product etc. like a better product for your needs etc.

I use this to play back videos on my smart tv. I notice problems with the drive, especially when playing large files. It makes me think the read speeds aren't as fast for continuous reads.
