It was adequate for its intended use. The flash drive was bought to back up files on a laptop before it was sent in for repairs.

This is a great Thumbdrive if you want a bunch of small files, like pictures and such. If you want large files, or a large game, go for a faster thumbdrive.

I brought this small disk drive because I needed to transport some video files. The disk didn't work. It was only when I went back to Best Buy, that is when they told me it doesn't work for video files.
Definitely need to upgrade the packages to inform consumers AHEAD of time that it doesn't work for video files.
This was a very expensive purchase, and then I had to come back to the store to make another purchase. This ended up being a big waste of time and money.

A little bit hard to remove the cover and the data transfer rate is not as fast as other USB 3.0, so consider your intended use before purchasing this drive. .

It took almost 24 hours to download and fill the 256GB drive.
I was expecting a lot faster.
Also, the cover wouldn't slide closed. It takes excessive force to slide it. A search discovered other have had problems.

Fails to connect most times. Try it in two different Laptops. Used for backup of my files, but when checked later fails in three of four attempts, did not showed the written information inside of folders. Decided to buy and backup the info in a 128GB SanDisk Flash drive, and it worked OK.

256GB PNY Elite Turbo Attache 4 - USB 3.2 Flash Drive:
Transfer speeds are constantly fluctuating between 0B/s to 100MB/s and everything in between but mostly 0-74MB/s. The fluctuating is like watching a sound wave, consistently up and down. Transferring 90GB took about an hour. For USB 3.2 I expected much faster. I'm headed back to the store right now to exchange for a SanDisk - Ultra Fit 256GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive instead.
