Tried to copy a couple of television shows and movies on this USB drive but unlike the easy store 128GB USB drive this USB drive would not copy. Called Geek Squad to see if I was doing something wrong, but they confirmed this brand may not be as reliable.

Footprint was to large to fit 2 USB drives at the same time. Attempted to used for file transfer, was not nearly fast enough. Don't know if there was an issue with the drive I purchased or not, was not willing to try another, purchased a SSD drive.

For a USB 3.0 device, this transferred data extremely slowly on my Windows 8.1 machines (sometimes basically slowing to a stop). I haven't had a chance to mess with it yet (format, etc.) but so far it's a letdown. If you catch a wonderful sale on it, maybe you'll have better luck. I'm normally impressed with PNY but not this time around.

I purchased this flash drive on a sale and immediately told my friend about what a great deal it was. He bought one right away too. When I got it home, I plugged it into my computer and nothing happened. I thought I might not have used it right so I brought it to my friend who works in an IT department. He indicated it was also not working. I brought it back to the store and they confirmed it was a bad product. They allowed me to exchange the drive for another brand which worked fine. A couple days later, I spoke to my friend about the drive and strangely enough, he had the same problem.

Tried every USB 3.0 port, front, back, different computers, doesn't matter, this thing caps out at 30MB/s. The case is flimsy and the plug wobbles inside of it, and it has not been abused, only used a handful of times actually.
I bought it for transferring large files between computers because of its large capacity and for that purpose, it is slow as dirt and not of any use to me.

The reading speed of this flash drive is alright. But it's writing speed is too slow. It's only 10MB/S on average which is much slower than USB 2.0 standard.

I was completely surprised and totally disappointed with this product. I didn't even finish loading the first batch of data from my hard drive before this flash junk stick seized up and wouldn't allow additional data to be added. I finally gave up and decided to start over but when I tried to reformat it wouldn't allow that either. It kept giving the "write protected" message. Who write protected it??? I certainly didn't. I wish someone had protected me with just a little warning on what pieces of junk these things are. Don't be drawn in by the low prices there's a reason for them.
