I just both it less than a month ago and it already doesn’t work anymore, and furthermore, I lose a lot of very important data because of that. I will go back to return it and to see if I can recover my data, or at least part of it.
SO IN CONCLUSION: DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT AT ALL! IT WILL NOT WORK AFTER JUST FEW DAYS, IF IT IS EXACTLY AS MINE!!!!!!

Best Buy refused to honor the shelf tag price and insisted that the exact same item with a different UPC was somehow worth quite a bit more. They stocked the item with the tag for PNY 256GB thumb drive. They should have honored that price.

If I could give it less than one star I would. It was an out of box failure and had to immediately return for refund. I plugged it into my USB port and my computer recognized it and it installed properly. However, when copying files to the drive, it stopped half way through and whatever files it did copy, they were all corrupted.
Formatting the drive didn't help, and the problem occurred on three different computers. I returned for full refund and purchased something else, another brand.

After 2 weeks, none of my PC's recognize this drive. The light flashes weekly one time and I get a message "This USB Mass Storage Device can transfer information faster if you connect it to a Super-Speed USB 3.0 port ". The port is 3.0 so I don't know. I also tried many other ports and nothing. Also checked on-line solutions, nada. As usual, I chunked the packaging and receipt so no $$$ back for me. This is the first flash drive (out of 25+ I have used) that has ever failed.......(insert non-smiley face).

Everytime I used it in my laptop, the program I was transferring my videos & photos from to put on the PNY Flash Drive would freeze up. Everything completely froze to the point I couldn't even end the task(s) by proper shut down. I had to take the battery out of my laptop, put the battery back in & turn it on & wait for it to bring up the log in screen. Happened 6 out of 10 times when I used the PNY. I transferred the videos on the PNY to a different brand flash drive & threw the PNY in a drawer where it will stay. Not worth all the problems this flash drive caused. Never buying this again.
