I need to try this again, but I couldn't get this device to work with macos time machine. The symptom was it hung forever doing an incremental backup. I don't know if there is a problem in more common uses, and I don't know if this problem is unique to just one unit.

Flash drive became corrupted after 2 months of use. Lost all my data that was saved on this drive.

The one I purchased was dead on arrival. Return was quick and painless.

Software issue related to "write protected" It did work for only 30 min Now I cant delete files that has been saved on the flash drive. PNY was contacted. They were aware on the issue. Offered a replacement if I return it. I will do only if I can delete my documents so it not going to be happen.

Transfers at about 7mbs-10mbs. In description it states up to 600mbs but was no where near that speed.

This item arrived glued together incorrectly or molded incorrectly

Your time or your money. This thing never worked right out of the box and you know Best buy; trying to get anything fixed or replaced is a pain.

List format creating a backup for win 10 No way to reformat

the USB flash drive that was recommended by a service person does not fit my MacBook. I thought I was getting help so I could get the correct flash drive. Now I need to buy a different one.

I have stored my a lot of data on this flash drive then now when I tried to my access my data, the computer prompted me to re-format this drive before I can access this flash drive but it will wipe out the data that I have saved on it.... What kind of product is this? I just wasted my money purchasing this item...

this memory stick quit on me right when I really needed it. I had used the stick as a system restore for Windows 10. My hard drive crashed and I had to replace it. I didn't worry until I realized that the stick was no longer recognized by the system, and I was not able to restore my system!

plugged into 3.0 slot and it wiped out my usb drivers had to reinstall them

I bought this when it was on sale and after three months stopped working.

had to replace with another brand after it suddenly stops in the middle of data transfer from my other storage device. i am now praying that the remaining data left on that defective unit cannot be retrieved by others since i have to return the defective unit and replace this with another brand.

This drive is just slow, period. Can't believe it's being passed off as USB 3.0. It's definitely not USB 3.0 speeds or even 2.0 speeds. I have other drives from Sandisk, Memorex, Samsung that put this drive to shame. PNY needs to go back to the drawing board.

purchased in the morning, quit working by the evening, customer service didnt even offer to exchange it, they just gave me my money back. makes me wonder how many they had seen fail

Everything possible aspect of the way this was handled was terrible. I cost me time, money and my documents. I will never shop at Best Buy again and will dissuade every one I know from doing so too.

Despite being 3.0 this stick was horribly slow....

Although I have seen high ratings on this product, I cannot agree based on my experience. I have bought three of these now, based on price. They all initially work but they crash and are totally useless. Wasted money, wasted time and lost data. Disappointed.

Somehow it does not work now. It "write protected" my data without me doing this and I can no longer edit it or delete it. I tried microsoft's solution of using cmd to un-write protect the thumb drive but it did not work. It is still write protected so I have to buy a new one.
