PNY makes good flash drives. Buy two because it is good to have multiple backups. I got burned by two other manufacturers, wasted lots of money, was teally torqued. From now on I shop Best Buy first.

Got the job done for a good price while on sale !!

It works well enough and is quite a bit faster than the old USB 2.0 Stick that I used before (not to mention it's quite a bit bigger). It transferred quickly when I've used it so far - but I haven't used it extensively, and it's my first 3.0 drive, so I don't have that much of a comparison. But it is a good deal for it's capacity (at least at the time of writing, it was in the mid thirties).

Works as intended, increased my Xbox one memory. Fantastic amount of memory for a little flash drive.

These are a great deal at the time of writing. I bought 2 of tge 256gb. I’ve known PNY to be a great manufacturer. Im more used to their PC ram and it always performed well.

I use this flash drive on my DVD all the time for the kids, it's fast and able to store too many videos. A must have USB for all parents.

Bought one of these 6 months ago and it works so well that I had to buy another one the next time they went on sale. Using them to backup files from multiple PC's. They work good and have a speed that is a lot faster than my USB 2.0 drives when copying large quantities of files.

PNY has been my trusted brand for years when it comes to flash drive or micro-SD cards. This one was surprisingly on sale with an incredible price and the quality of PNY. Thus I bought it with no hesitation and it's been a great storage for a college student like me with fast transfer rate, a lot of space and no failure to launch at all.

I was surprised how much more quickly data can move back and forth with the 3.0. Very much so worth it especially with moving large files from my newer camera. In the past my PC would crash or Windows would get bogged down if I tried to move a 1080p video from my camera to a usb but this one worked wonderfully.

Portable and easy to use. Has a lot of room for pictures and documents. Great for travel to have a back up for photos.

Normally I don't write reviews often for products, and I generally take advertised specs with a grain of salt. But this drive was on sale and I wanted something that was affordable and had at least 128gb of space. Quite a few reviews suggested it was "fast" but upon using the drive, I was able to confirm myself that data speeds are quite good. Read speed I got when moving large files from the PNY drive to an internal SSD (tested over 500 MB/s read/write) using USB 3.0 were over 180 MB/s sustained which is considerably good and very close to advertised speeds. Write speeds to the drive for large files from the same setup were slightly slower than advertised at about 75-85 MB/s sustained but still considerably faster than your average flash drive. (Speeds are largely system dependent and will be considerably lower when plugged into a USB 2.0 slot.) Comes format as FAT32 but I would likely suggest changing it to NTFS for best support of large files. Also keep in mind that small files tend to transfer "slower" as rated by the system but overall this drive is very worth the money.

This PNY 256GB is (PERFECT)! This baby will handle the largest backups and transfers.

I needed a way to backup my cell phone data that's not in "the cloud." I bought this when it was on sale. So, I got it at a great price per GB. Plug and play. It plugs into the USB port of my Mac Airbook. It works fast in the USB 3.0 port, but also in the USB 2.0 port, although, a bit slower. No issues of being recognized by my laptop. A small red LED light blinks upon mounting, accessing and writing files. I find the light is difficult to see through to retractable cover, though, due to it's dark color. There is a tiny hole to attach a keychain loop or whatever else fits. Strongly recommend doing so to prevent loss of this tiny drive. Overall, a much more secure way to store files than on some remote server somewhere in another country or planet. No internet connection required!
