This game is amazing and it makes catching all the Pokémon so much more easier with the new system they have in it must have for anyone that like adventure!!

If you enjoyed sapphire then I highly recommend this reboot. It has better visuals, 3D and online play! You cant go wrong with this game if you're a pokemon fan!

I don't know much about Pokemon (my kids try and tell me but my eyes glaze over)--that being said my 10-year-old saved his money for a Nintendo 2ds and we got him this as a reward. He loves it and chooses to play it for his screen time on most weekends. It's kept him captivated and inspired us to buy the other Pokemon game (Ruby) that mirrors this one as a future reward.

I recently got into Pokemon, with Pokemon X, and man have I been missing out on some great games. So addictive, the slogan is absolutely true, GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!

Bought this game with a friend, he got omega and I got alpha. We used to play emerald all the time and this game was just the icing on the cake for nostalgia. Everything felt so new, with the 3D world, and it was a blast to play. However, I do suggest you take your time as it took us 2 days to beat it because we were so excited. I started a new game, but just slow down and enjoy it.

I remember buying the original and this is just as good. Still the same fun.

I hadn't played a Pokémon game in awhile, so I picked up Pokémon X a few months ago and got back into it. I enjoyed Pokémon X so I thought I would pick up Alpha Sapphire. The Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby games pick up the nice additions from X/Y and take it up another level. While this is a remake of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire from the GBA, it feels quite unique with the 3D gameplay and new features There are new Mega Evolution Pokémon, a secret base you can build, a new episode called "Delta" in addition to the original story, you can also look for specific pokemon using a sneaking/radar feature, where you see a shaking bush to indicate a hidden pokemon. This last feature was the most enjoyable part because it made the gameplay unique. You don't have to randomly fight against pokemon anymore, and by doing so, you can chain your encounters against a certain pokemon to increase your chance of finding unique or shiny pokemon. I don't see any real flaws with the game, other than you can't use the 3D feature of the 3DS outside of battles still. Lastly, if you utilize the Pokémon Bank app, you are able to store your pokemon for later in the Pokémon Sun and Moon coming out later this year. I would absolutely recommend this game, I give it a full 5 out of 5 stars. Probably recommend Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby if you've never played a pokemon game before too.

I did not plan on getting this game initially. I play Pokemon to complete the new pokedexes, and that was accomplished in X. There ARE, however, new mega evolutions and forms in this one. So, that's something. I made a team full of new Mega's/ Forms and it KINDA felt like new pokes. I bought it after the sun/moon announcements because I couldn't stand to wait. I got too hype.

My son is obsessed with Pokemon and this was his first hand held video game. He was excited to see familiar characters in the game.

Years ago, PKMN Sapphire revolutionized the series with its graphic enhancements as well as gameplay mechanics. And finally, years later, Nintendo has remade this incredible game. Does it still hold great gameplay and mechanics? Absolutely, characters are charming, graphics are gorgeous, and there's definitely good reason to come back to the world of Hoenn!

I bought this game for my son. He loves the game and says it is one of the best Pokemon games of the year. I'd say this is a good buy for Pokemon fans.

Great game with a great adventure! Enjoy this Pokémon installment like the others by building your team and taking on the elite 4

The main story was entertaining and there's tons to do on the side and after the main storyline. I liked it so much that I went and bought X afterward.

Pokemon is one of my sons favorite game and always looks forward to the newest version coming out. He loves it and can't help but talk about it ALOT!!

Its great that they brought back so many of the older generation legendaries and hard to find pokemon. Such a great game, my 5 year old loves it.

My 8 year old wanted this game so bad and even wrote a letter to Santa. Santa was so nice that he delivered it to him for Christmas. Best gift ever

Grandson requested this and we had to make a trip to another city to get this since it was sold out in our city. Grandson really enjoying the game

I bought this game for my son. He really likes it and it keeps him entertained during long trips.

It's Pokemon Sapphire with updated visuals and apps. You start off with a useful app that informs you whether or not you caught all the pokemon in your area and some that have inherent abilities (ex. Poochyena with Ice Fang). All other apps seem to be the same as they were in the previous games, just accumulated. I'm still playing the game...

This game is a nice addition to the pokemon franchise. Stays true to the series and adds some nice new additions to keep things interesting.
