I bought this as a birthday gift for my 24 year old son. He is a Pokemon fan and looked forward to receiving this game. He hasn't stopped playing it since he got it, other than to eat or sleep! That is high praise from him. He has not complained about any game play that has problems or is glitchy or could have been done better. He says the game is similar to Breath of the Wild, but with Pokemon. The artwork in the game is beautiful. I have peered over his shoulder while he plays a few times.

Super fun free roaming Pokémon game. Complete the Pokédex in ancient Husui! Downside is a lot of dialogue in the beginning.

One of the BEST Pokémon games to have come out. It changed from the usual formula. Every game has its faults, but this one is well worth sinking hours into.

This game is so much different than the regular Pokemon and I love how it feels calm and not everyone is trying to fight me just because I walked the wrong way. They do want to fight when you advance in the mission but you can be like nah im good and continue catching Pokémon. Would recommend.

Rich story, fun catching and battle mechanics, side quests, and chances to catch a bunch of Pokémon. Still enjoying it!

Incredible game so far, and the story line is quite interesting. This is definitely the Pokémon game I have been waiting to play, especially with the portability of the switch. The game that made squeezing every free moment you had to play, saving over and over, just evolved. Side note, why the one star on a game because it didn’t ship in time? If you can’t wait, go and pick it up. -_-

Legends Arceus marks quite the departure for the typical Pokemon formula. It allows for exploration like never before.

I grew up during the original Pokémon craze, and played regularly up until Sun and Moon. I have just not been able to get into the most recent games, but this one changes things up and makes me feel like I’m 8 years old again. Tedious menus and grinding are gone, and the joy of catching Pokémon in a wide open area is what I always thought Pokémon would be when it came to consoles. Can’t recommend enough, especially if you were a big fan that has felt left out over the years!

At a decent percent off on a fairly popular and enjoyed game, this was a no brainer. I couldnt even find it used that low. Now the game itself is a good addition to the brand and adds new mechanics and has a heavier focus around the classic “catch ‘em all” phrase. The end boss being directly related to having done so. A wonderful game. The hidden boss surprised me, which in a Pokemon game is refreshing.

Bought this game for my partner and he loves it so much that now I’m going to have to get the next games as well! He has always loved playing Pokémon games and plays this game almost every single day and I believe he has already completed it. It is a beautiful game and I was lucky for the chance to have it. We came from Indiana to Kentucky for it as, everywhere else was sold out. Thankful for that Best Buy and it’s employees for the excellent customer service.

This is quite possibly the best entry in the Pokémon series. Have been playing since RBY, and this game truly broke the mold on what this franchise can be.

Best pokemon game in years, the open world is dynamic and makes alot of quality of life updates to the series

40-year-old who hasn't played since gen 3. Couldn't ask for a better experience, all the magic of learning new Pokemon and playing for the first time again yet still capturing the nostalgia of my high school years. My alpha Snorlax is named King Buffet and I love him.

Loving this game. The open world is so fun, especially sneaking up behind Pokemon to chuck a ball at them.

I'm only a little ways in and already loving this game. Very different from the main series or any prior spin-off series, but a welcome breath of fresh air for the franchise. Excited for the next one!

The game was a nice attempt to branch out from the standard Pokemon formula. It definitely could be better, and the completionist aspects wear thin, but it's a fun game.

I love it! The game places you in a sort of a realistic version of reality in the game. If you let your guard down you're fish bait. This has a strong rpg feeling where you have more control over the game. Plot line is a bit lacking but sticks to the original gba version. The graphics are very similar to the zelda games for switch. I feel that the same group works on both. There's a lot of similarities between the two for graphics and sounds.

Not sure i was going to like it but now that i played it for a few evenings I've found it is ALOT of side quests but its overall a great game. BestBuy in my area was also super helpful. 3/5 stars wouldn't change a thing.
