For long time fans of the series, it will be a blast to play this entry. Think of Pokemon meets Breath of the Wild. The game still captures the fun of capturing and collecting a wide variety of pokemon, but it also captures the dangers of being alone in the wilderness surrounded by creatures that can very easily take you out. Personally. Therefore, you rely on your pokemon not only to harvest materials from the environment, but to also protect you from such dangers. You can also sneak and capture pokemon by catching them unaware, thus skipping combat entirely. I'm hoping for future games that follow this same gameplay formula.

It’s a great immersive game. If you have followed Pokémon, throughout the years, you will love this approach to catching Pokémon and filling up the Pokédex.

Although it may not be perfect in every little aspect, overall it's the game I have been waiting for. I have been playing Pokémon since Red and Blue were released, so over the years I have been craving something a little more than the typical format. We got close a couple of times with the GameCube installments, and Let's Go may be the most original thing done to a remake.. but Arceus is something completely new and I am LOVING it. The game plays as a real life scenario with Pokémon, you run around and catch them and can even be attacked by them. This is truly my childhood dream, the most realistic Pokémon game yet

90s baby Pokémon fan here.. this is a Breathe of fresh air for the Pokémon series. Love the open world feel. Beautiful graphics

Good game, Different from the normal aspect of Pokemon.

I bought this for my son as a gift. He is so happy with it, all day and night he has been talking about the game. He said it is like Zelda (my second favorite Zelda game), but with Pokemon. He loves how open the game is and all of the Pokemon. I bought as a gift for him (he is 7) and couldn't be happier with how much he enjoys it. I don't know much about Pokemon other than Pikachu, so I looked up the highest rated Switch Pokemon, and saw this had a better rating than Sword and Shield. My son loves it, so I love it. Thank you Best Buy for having this in stock.

Has a breath of the wild kind of a vibe and overall I’m enjoying this game a lot. It has its tedious moments but being able to catch Pokémon in and out of battle is nice.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is a change to the stereotypical pokemon game, and in my case a welcome change. The open world is immersive and each pokemon encounter is as exciting as the next. The storyline is enough to keep it interesting but the real shining part of this game is the gameplay. For somebody like me who is a completionist when it comes to video games, completing the pokedex and research for all entries was a fulfilling use of my time. It never felt overly repetitive as each area had new pokemon that you would encounter. While it is a turn away from the typical pokemon game formula it's one that works

I bought this game because it is open world. If you want to see a vibrant open world Pokémon game, this is an excellent addition to your collection. The Pokémon actually interact with humans. You can sneak around and even do a surprise if you hit them first. GREAT FUN!

The game we deserve hands down. No other compares i spent hours farming materials and exploring the open word and i don't regret it another great game from Pokemon

I wish more Pokémon games were more like this one. This game is the most fun I've had completing the pokédex, and the new mechanics like the strong/agile style moves, catching Pokémon in overworld, requests, etc are cool and unique. Lots of replay value, it was well worth my time. Would 100% recommend, A+

Not sure i was going to like it but now that i played it for a few evenings I've found it is ALOT of side quests but its overall a great game. BestBuy in my area was also super helpful. 3/5 stars wouldn't change a thing.

Pokemon Arceus is an open world Pokemon game where you are sent back in time to when Pokeballs were first invented. You get to meet all sorts of new Pokemon and randomly get a chance to catch old favorites. The primary goal of this game is to complete the missions, but really its to catch as many Pokemon as possible. Every Pokemon you catch earns you money, research points, and levels. While you can move your human character during a battle (and you can get hurt if you're between the Pokemon), it is still a turn-style approach like any other Pokemon game.

It’s really hard to go back to old Pokemon games after playing this one. The reason? Pokemon catching and battling happens right in the environment you’re in, without any load times or transitions. This game rewards you for catching multiple pokemon of the same type, and it encourages you to fill out your pokedex by rewarsing you with better items. The graphics are the weakest part of the game, but this won’t bother you enough to put the game down. Lots of content for the price, you can get at least 80 hours out of it, more if you want to 100% everything and grind for shiny pokemon.

Very fun game. It tries something different from the classic Pokemon formula and succeeds at it. Few trainer battles but the story is good as is the gameplay.

It's a great game and changes the mechanics of how to catch Pokemon. The story was great but I wish there was more battling. But overall 10/10✅
