I bought this for a birthday gift for an 11 yo. He seems okay with it but the 7 yo and the 43 yo were bored with it. Best Buy was great.

Glt it for my 9yrs old nephew as a Christmas gift. He loves it and is having a blast playing it do highly recomend it.

Catching Pokemon is by far the best in this game. Lots of fun. But the game overall has very chunky not fun movement and the frenzy battles are where it really shows. It's a good first step into an "open-world" but the movement makes the boss battles feel horrible and not fun.

This is not Pokemon. It's a shooting game. You have to stealth, aim, and throw and hope it doesn't run away or jump or whatever. I liked Pokemon before but this is completely different. Also, the 30 minute run of cutscenes in the beginning was SOOOO frustrating. ok, run 7 feet (cutscene), run 10 feet (cutscene), etc. I'm older and my coordination is not what it used to be, it's never been great tbh. Using both control sticks plus the back triggers and the buttons all at the same time is just not going to work for me. Having to run using both sticks is also not going to work for me. I'm incredibly disappointed.

Not like the classic games. Boring. Too easy. World seemed bigger in the launch keynote

Just play SMT V and Monster Hunter. They're way better.
