Pokemon Legends: Z-A for Switch 2 is an interesting take on the Legends formula. I played it with my kids (9 and 7) and they both adored it. I thought it was decent. The battle system takes a little adjustment, but once you figure it out, it's fun. The visuals are a little underwhelming, but not bad. Legends: Z-A represents a (very) incremental step in the right direction for the Pokemon series as a whole, mindful of its status as a spinoff.

The new battle system is fun but the small map and lack of creativity had me give this a 3 star

the game itself is a nice, refreshing title in the pokemon franchise and great for people who wish to feel what its like to actually BE your character in the pokemon universe. great for old and new fans alike. my criticism of the game lies in the fact that there is $30 dlc announced before the game even has released and in the fact that your pokemon transferred to this game cannot be transferred back to your previously compatible titles.

Fun game, with new mechanics for Pokemon. Still limited graphics, but novel gameplay that I and my 2 boys enjoy.

When i first heard that a pokemon game was going to have live battles i was scared and excited at the same time. Now that the game came out im excited for the change. To be able to swap out a pokemon to avoid it getitng hit in real life is fun. Feels like the anime. The wild zones are fun but i do miss the open areas of the first legends game. The day and night time cycle is interesting. Wish they were longer.

Extremely fun, engaging battles, good online, graphics could be better but I enjoyed the story and characters, plus I loved XY back in the day, though, of course you can play without having experienced those. I don't believe this is a mustplay, but it should definitely be high up in your list of games to get, especially if you like Pokemon.

Great game, the graphics are amazing on the Switch 2. Highly recommend for any Pokemon fan.
