I personally thought the game is an improvement over previous versions, such as the fighting of Pokemon and catching. This takes elements from Pokemon Arceus and Pokemon Violent/Scarlet. My son enjoys playing the game and its perfect for his demographic. I played the original Pokemon Red in 1998, so for me, this is an improvement over previous versions.

Not the best Pokemon game out there.

I was very disappointed with the game, mechanics, story, graphics and pretty much everything. I'm giving it a 4 star only because I am a fan that has played every game since the beginning, but this was just a lazy creation. I'm still happy that it was a new Pokemon game so I might get around to completing it, but I'm not very excited for it.
