I Want A Newer Gen Let's Go Game

I enjoyed playing this game and love the fact its compatible with Pokémon Go on the phone. After I beat the game, I stopped playing though. I enjoy the battling and having the best team to become a Pokémon Master! I hope they come out with more Let's Go versions with newer generations so that we can transfer in our other Pokémon from Pokémon Go into the games!

While at first I was apprehensive about the GO mechanic integration, Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee! has quickly become an addiction of which I haven't experienced with Pokemon in a long time. A week in and I've gotten every badge, beaten the league, knocked off several master trainers, stomped Red, and caught over 1000 Pokemon, with no end in sight. This is so much better than anyone expected, highly recommended.

Any Pokémon fan will love it. Old school guys will get the nostalgia, newer fans won’t know what they are missing. Supremely dumbed down for a more inviting and approachable, casual game. The hardcore Pokémon players will get board fast, the development system is very simplified. The whole game is a little too simplified in fact - some of the features that have been present since Gold/Silver are not included. The argument of “its a Yellow remake” doesn’t hold because many areas have been modernized. All in all, for casual gamers, new fans and old school guys it’s a blast. Hardcore might get bored too fast with lack of features, but new visuals and feel is worth it.

My wife and I are both gamers. She is a huge pokemon fan. We recently bought a switch and this game. She has not stopped playing it much since we got it. It is very much like the very first Pokemone, but re-imagined. Looks great even on a large 4k tv docked on the switch. Easily a must have for any Pokemon fan, but also anyone looking to play their first Pokemon game. I'm sure kids would love it too. Haha

Pokemon Yellow turned into a better remake

Let's Go is a good entry point for newcomers to Pokemon, and has some fun additional features like riding a variety of Gen 1 Pokemon including Charizard and Arcanine. The improved graphics and mechanics are another plus. Unfortunately Kanto, for many, is starting to feel stale, and with Let's Go being limited to Gen 1 of Pokemon only makes it feel very limited. It was an enjoyable play through one time but I don't see myself going back to it again. The Eevee version is in my opinion a tad better as Eevee has more options for attacks, but both versions are nearly identical save for a couple exclusive Pokemon (such as Growlithe in Pikachu and Vulpix in Eevee).

So this is one of the best games if you are a fan of Pokémon. The game keeps you busy enough to stay entertained. We didn’t have the pokeball controller so using the joycon was not as fun and a bit difficult for some reason. Also this game is meant for older kids or grown ups. My 5 year tried to play as much as she could but there is too much reading for her. Lol. Overall a great game and a must buy.

If you like Pokemon, this brings back memories- as well as adding some new stuff to the original. This game brings us back to Kanto region- the original 151 Pokemon and story- with a few twists that I don't quite remember! Updated graphics and gameplay as well as optional use of peripherals (Pokeball plus) bring this classic to new life!

Pokemon Let's Go Eevee is a great release on Switch. Many had assumed it was only beginners entry to the series and too dumbed down for anyone else. Yes, the catching mechanic is like in Pokemon Go, but everything else is improved in my opinion. I'm a fan of the new pokemon encounters even. This game is a great remake for the Yellow game with extra features. Can't wait for the new game, hopefully next year.

Played the orignal Red/Blue when i was little, and this was a nice touch to bring me back before the next set of games comes out for the Switch. Graphics are pretty good, Switch/Nintendo level, gameplay is different (still getting used to the Pokemon Go catch system to train). Because of the new catch and exp system it makes this game a lot easier to pick up, play and then stop for a while, since all Pokemon are earning exp in your party. The need to grind to level up is not there anymore. The grinding and i believe the real focus is the hunt for the shinies. After long winded answer, good game, grab when on sale.

Super fun and super nostalgic. This is based on Pokemon Yellow (and really Blue and Red) from back in the gameboy days. The graphics are great and the action is fun. It's nice not having to get a wild pokemon attack every 1.2 seconds since they are actually visible on the screen and you can avoid them in most cases. Worth every penny!

I like the game so far. I have played Pokémon games for many years since the original Pokémon red. It’s awesome to walk around in the game and just see the Pokémon roaming around instead of having to walk in the grass and be surprised. It makes it seem closer to the show, especially with all the original Pokémon. I would definitely recommend this to Pokémon fans of any age.

I got this as a gift for someone who likes Eevee. Since most Pokemon stuff is usually just pikachu or the original 3 starters it was cool to see something with Eevee as the star. I have not played this extensively just the demo in store but the game play seemed easy and fun I think this will be a great first pokemon game for younger fans as well as a fun game for older fans of the series.

This game is so fun and is great for both old and new gamers. If you are like me and didn't own the games during your childhood and aren't as familiar with these games, you might need a tutorial to help kick start your journey. Luckily, there are lots available on YouTube. The graphics are beautiful and there is a lot to do in the game.

This is a remake of Pokémon Yellow version from the GameBoy and is actually quite nice, pleasant, relaxing to play. Pick this up if you need a Pokémon fix. It's link to Pokémon Go (the phone game) is quite cool too and you can get an exclusive Pokémon called Meltan when you transfer monsters. Let's Go becomes a kind of 'storage' for the iPhone/Android app and that is great too.

I have been waiting for awhile for an updated version of Red/Blue/Yellow that used 3D graphics. I have to say I am enjoying Let's Go Eevee immensely. Pokemon catching has changed to the Pokemon Go style so you no longer need to weaken pokemon down in HP and then attempt a capture. There is also a lot more guidance in the game on where to go next that was lacking in the originals.

Heard mixed reviews about this one, I got a switch about 6 months ago and am still playing catch up with games. I played brilliant diamond before this one which I loved, this one is a bit different, a bit more interactive using the joycons, very fun tho!!
