Nostalgic, but fresh and new Pokemon experience
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game could be considered a "remake" of Pokemon Yellow; you explore the region from the very first game, and it is stunning to see on the big screen. It's everything I wanted in my childhood and more! The combat system for catching and leveling wild Pokemon takes elements from the mobile game, Pokemon Go. Personally, I liked this system because it was easier to level up a party of six Pokemon at a time. The trainer and classic gym battles are still there, but each gym has a stunning amount of detail. I was so happy to play this game, and, as an avid Pokemon Go player, I welcomed the integrative experience. If you're a Pokemon fan, classic or Pokemon Go, you owe it to yourself to play this game. It's an incredibly fun experience!

Super cute!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Eevee is adorable and the Pokèball Plus is a TON of fun. I really enjoy it!! It vibrates and has different colors when you catch Pokèmon. Very nostalgic and has a modern spin to a classic game. Worth picking up!!!

Beautiful Pokemon Game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything in this game looks gorgeous. Only thing I would complain about is how wonky the motion controls are when capturing pokemon. Overall, it is very fun and I am looking forward to the future Pokemon games.

Pokemon newbie.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always had an interest in Pokemon but found jumping into the series a little overwhelming. I am very happy with this game. It is a great starting point for those who are new to the series. The game seems simple enough for young players but can offer a good challange for veteran players wanting to hunt for shinies. The pokeball plus is fantastic. I didn't even know, when I ordered it, that it works with Pokemon Go and I am now playing a lot more Pokemon Go. I play almost exclusively with the pokeball plus, only changing when I play in handheld mode. The pokeball is comfortable to use and I can easily catch pokemon for hours. I think the pokeball will add a lot of enjoyment to younger players. All around this is an excellent bundle.

Fun for kids!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I’m reviewing this from the eyes of a 7 y/o. So the game is fantastic in that she is completely enthralled and has needed very little help. Knocking off 1 star for the poke ball controller. She usually just uses the joy con because the ball “doesn’t have all the buttons that the joy con does.” So save yourself some money and just get regular game

3D Pokemon Yellow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Takes one of my favorite games and upgrades graphics along with some other things that follow how current pokemon games play. The pokeball plus is probably one of the easiest ways to play and I found it absolutely essential in Pokemon Go so that I'm no longer look dumb playing on my walks. Instead of swiping up, you just need to press the top button to spin coins and catch pokemon. Super easy and the only way to play Go. Although you can't catch all 151 pokemon with the game alone, connecting it and sharing pokemon with pokemon go makes it a breeze. Also, huge strides have been made to make shiny hunting way easier, for any of the "hardcore" players. Overall love the rework of the game and generation I grew up with.

Perfect jumping on point
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For players of Pokemon Go but not the main series this is the perfect way to get started. It uses alot of the mechanics like throwing pokeballs but introduces new players to the world of pokemon as an RPG.

Pokemon
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphic are great but I dont like the idea of not battle the pokemon that's wild to weak it before catching it. It's pokemon yellow and it hasn't advance when it come to the other pokemon games you would really expect more. My daughter loves the 2 player mode and she doesn't like the idea of not being able to jump in the game (youngster) lol

Great Entertainer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great buy. My ten year old wanted it and it has been keeping him busy. It also makes him think because he has to find his way through each gym. Suggest you buy this one over the Pikachu version.

SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yeah, it's a good game, though I do miss weakening wild Pokemon to catch them, but the biggest draw is just how adorable it is to interact with Eevee and the other Pokemon. This game will melt your heart.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love Pokemon, and this game was on my list of games to get in the series! I've only just started it, but I've already caught a good amount of 'Mons, and I'm doing pretty good and having fun!

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So many pokemon to catch. Leveling up is fun and the new mega evolutions are great. Get the pokeball controller and take you pokemon for a walk and it will help level up.

A Breath of Fresh Air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I AM a hardcore Pokemon RPG fan. Many who are think this game is bad, but they obviously haven't played it. No, it's not quite as deep as previous mainline games. But when's the last time Pokemon games were difficult? This game actually adds a new later of difficulty that the older games don't have, especially after you beat the story. But my favorite thing by far is seeing the wild Pokemon move about the world. Not only can you usually avoid the annoyance of encounters you don't want, but the world just feels ALIVE. I enjoy the catching mechanics, but hope they stay in the Let's Go series. But I truly hope the visible Pokemon becomes the new norm because it's exactly what the series needs.

Beautiful game with great features!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Pokemon games, been playing them since the 90's. Being able to catch pokemon and battle with a friend is a cool new feature. The pokeball that comes with the bundle is well worth the extra cash.

So much fun!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a first time Pokemon player never played any of the games before and now I’m hooked! The game is so simple but yet still addictive to play, I’m even considering playing older Pokémon games now!

Review from parent perspective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my 6.5 year old as her first Switch game. Was hoping this would pull her into gaming, but wow quite the opposite. Too much text at the start for a kid to want to sit through. Either use voice for dialogue, or cut most of it out. It's not fun to sit through and have text bubble after text bubble. I understand explanations need to be given about the world and controls, but it's just excessive. Maybe it's unfair to post a review before putting serious time into the game, but so far it's a let down. Also, the Pokeball upgrade was NOT worth it. The game tutorials even still demonstrate with a Joy Con even though a $40 premium was paid to have the PokeBall. It's cool to have the light up and sound from the PokeBall and my daughter did find that a little neat, but it's a limited controller otherwise. Overall, if your kid isn't that into Pokemon or gaming, I would look elsewhere for a game to break them in with.

Great game! Perfect for new players
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game! I really loved that it was friendly for newer players but still had things to excite people who played the original Pokemon Yellow. I highly suggest it to any Pokemon fan, new or young.
