Basically a remake of Pokemon Yellow on the Gameboy. If you like pokemon or played the originals you will probably like this.

Some remakes are left untouched but this was really fun to play. The poke ball also adds a fun touch

I love the game. The Pokeball Plus itself is really cool and looks amazing, but as a controller it’s not the best. Kind of annoying to use honestly. Linked into Pokémon Go it’s pretty functional but I still prefer my Gotcha.

Son has had Pokémon games before but the addition of the poke ball controller sets this one apart. Loves the gameplay!

Not a core pokemon game but not so a much a spinoff either, this game has a good mix of both elements that makes for an overall fun, laidback pokemon experience. Motion controls aren't great but pokeball makes it more tolerable

Great game, many changes to overall game play from classic JRPG but still enjoyable. Only con is that it doesn't have pro controller support so you can't play while sitting back or laying down. You are forced to be very active.

I bought this as a gift and it was well received. I also bought the pikachu edition for myself. The pokeball plus is great. It makes grinding pokemon levels super easy with the "take for stroll" feature. From one day of walking around my onix jumped from level 6 to level 22. It's a little awkward in any pocket but if you're home it doesn't really matter. I took off one star because the game is a bit repetitive and that was relayed to me by the gift recipient. Also connecting the pokeball plus to the system takes entirely too long. You end up having to press the button repeatedly... sometimes it connects inside of 10 seconds, sometimes 20. Also you're suppose to shake the pokeball to simulate the y button but it doesnt always work. I suspect an update will fix that though.

This game is amazing. It is perfect for entry level into Pokemon and for vets alike. Great fun for the whole family.
