I have been playing Pokémon series since Yellow. I was skeptical at first regarding leveling and progression. But once again we have a game where you can shiny hunt and gather up as many Pokémon as you want. You can hunt down that perfect IV and you can trade with friends. I enjoy using the pokeball, though some features are not usable in the game since you only have 3 buttons. Some of the features we are used to seeing as of recently like breeding and online trading are very missed in my mind. I am an avid breeding and I trade those online to random people. So with these features missing I lessened the overall rating to a 4. For new players this is a great start on your journey through the Pokemon series.

The Pokémon series of games have always been fantastic. The new switch version makes it even more fun.
