The capture mechanic has been simplified, too much, maybe, but it's fun as a casual version of Yellow. Honestly I never understood why you couldn't capture a passed out animal in the main games so maybe the casual version is better suited to my tastes. The game is fun, I do feel like it's a bit too easy, but it's a good way to wind down before bed. I'm hoping that they merge some of the changes here into the next core game for switch since I'm looking forward to trying that one out when it arrives next year.

Really fun game!

The kids love how they can each have a profile for each game regardless of how many cartridges we have. The Pokeball controllers are really fun to use and double as "fidget" devices when out and about with a Pokemon "inside it." I would definitely recommend the game. Great preview to a new "full" version of the game next year?
