The game is okay. It may just be the Kanto fatigue speaking, but I didn't see a need for a second remake of the original games. I still tried it anyway because I really wanted to play a console "main line" Pokemon game before Sword and Shield came out. The inability to use a regular or pro controller when docked is a letdown especially since you can use the joy-con in handheld mode. The Pokemon Go-like catch mechanics were a nice novelty, but I missed the traditional wild Pokemon battles. Something about this game just felt lifeless, but that's subjective. The Pokeball Plus periphery is a nice collectible though.

This a very chill, relaxed Pokemon game. The extra pokeball that comes with it is a bit overpriced. If you play Pokemon Go, then I can see the pokeball as maybe worth it. But aside from that, I'd probably stick with the standard version.

This was by far the best pokemon experience I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend it to anyone that has a switch.

My favorite character is Eevee. I've been waiting on this game since they announced the release. Now I can't stop playing it.

Great reimagining of the original pokemon to appease a more laidback audience, and a great introduction to the franchise.

This game is a cute new take on the old Pokemon Yellow. It has different game mechanics but it is still fun and entertaining.

No challenge here, but the new catch mechanics and overworld Pokèmon spawns make it worth the play if you're a Pokèmon fan

This pokemon game was more fun than expected! I had doubts, but once I played it, I was pretty impressed with the features.

My youngest son, who is an adult, still loves Pokemon. he can't stop playing this game. Great for Pokemon lovers out there.

This item is excellent. I love the quality of the images in the back of the actual switch and also the dock for the switch.

This is one of the best Pokemon games ive played. Though the mechanics are different, it is all very unique and enjoyable.

Bought this for a Christmas gift for my son so I will update the review after Christmas after he has played it a few times

this is a really good package, I mainly use the ball as an decaration on my backpack. it is super fun......for a while

The controls weren't as bad as I thought they were going to be. Pokemon fans will feel a lot of nostalgia while playing.

I love playing this game, my 5 year old likes to battle the trainers and knows the designated controls better than I do.

This is mostly a remake of Pokemon Yellow that was released around 20 years ago with a few tweaks. Great for all ages.

I didn’t expect this game to be good until I say some gameplay. It’s really fun and the shiny hunting is great as well.
