Great for kids, disappointing for older fans
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.One of the major appeals of this game is that it's supposedly a remake of the original Pokémon games (specifically Yellow). On that front, this game is OK. Hearing Kanto music fully orchestrated is wonderful, but this does look a bit like a 3DS game upscaled to HD. Think of this more as a spin-off title, rather than a remake. This game would be perfect for younger folk as it's pretty easy, but there's also plenty of charm. A safe bet for kids, but I'm hoping the new Pokémon games next year will be a bit more substantial.
