This is a great game not only for beginner Pokemon players, but also for people who love Pokemon because of it’s charm, and not it’s difficulty. This game is pretty easy, but not ridiculously easy. Also don’t get the Eevee version. Pikachu is better.

This game takes me back to the original yellow version, but with the improved graphics it makes it better. Must buy if you're a Pokemon fan.

My grandkids love this game. It has a 2 player game that they spend most of their time with!

Old school done in a new coat of paint but it is an alright version of the first game but not as great as the original game.

So much fun! Just like the old game boy games for the most part. Loved the nostalgia.

I LOVE THIS GAME! My favorite pokemon Series, the original games (Blue, Red, & Yellow version) Redesigned JUST ENOUGH to please the NEW crowd, BUT old school enough to please THE FAITHFUL OLDER FANS (Like me)! PS: NINTENDO, please don’t CUT BATTLES MORE THAN YOU HAVE ALREADY WITH THE WILD POKEMON. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT WAS TO SAVE THE HASSLE OF CATCHING POKEMON, BUT THAT WAS ACTUALLY HALF THE CHALLENGE, AND A PRETTY FUN EXPERIENCE IN MY OPINION! Now it’s a little TOO EASY... Yes even for the younger fans... Anyways, Thanks.

Very entertaining either for adults or kids, can play all day job stop

Wish you could get a choice of starter instead of just having to buy a game that marries you to just that one choice or buy another to make a different choice. Classic Pokémon fun though!

Pokémon fans like this game but there are so many at this point. This was was ok.

My 7 year old son loves this game. He was super excited when he opened it up during Christmas. No regrets on the purchase.

brings back the best memories from the OG pokemon games, definitely worth it, and the pokeball plus controller is an awesome integration!
