Definitely different then the core main series. But its meant to be easy for all ages. It does get a bit annoying when playing on the handheld that it is on the tv screen.

Really wish the Pokemon developers left the wild pokemon battle features on, but I like the updated graphics and the feeling of being more immersed in the world of Pokemon.

Loved the game purchased for my 4 year old son. But he wasnt much into it and got bored easially there was alot of reading to do to progress. Think I enjoyed it more than him!

The game appears to be a remake of the original Kanto region Pokemon game, with Pokemon Go elements mixed into it. Integrates with Pokemon Go after you get to the sixth city.

Perfect gift for any Pokémon fan. My son was excited to play this game. Pokémon in my opinion is so much fun when it’s a digital video game.

I love all the mice you can catch with your turtle. Talk about a fun time. Can’t believe PETA hasn’t tried to shut down this fun factory

It's easier to grind EXP than the other Pokemon games. It's more fun catching and battling Pokemon in this game also. I like how the catch combos help you find rare Pokemon.

Kids love all things pokemon so this was a must , even if I wasn't a fan of opening my wallet. Gotta admit it is fun watching the kids play, highly recommend the game.

Loved Pokemon ever since it first came out and had to buy this to relive my childhood. Very fun to play, although, not a big fan on the methods needed to catch Pokemon.

being a huge pokemon fan all my life i purchases this for my kid but the kid in me too it back i cant get enough of this old school pokemon yellow nostalgia new and improved

So let's be real, pokemon hasn't changed much in the last 20 years. Aesthetically the game is very pleasing and simple to play. THe accessory pokeball is really handy and adds out of game benefits. You can import pokemon go pokemon into it as well. Other than that, it's pretty much pokemon. :)

Ordered online and received the game lighting fast. Great game evidently because the kids have been really excited to play it.

My 7 year old boy love this game. He was able to connect his Pokemon GO account and import some (not all) of his Pokemon to the game.

This game is everything great about Pokémon yellow. It is in 3D now with a ton of extra cool features that start after the initial game is beat. I definitely recommend.

I played it. while I was excited it was a pokemon game for the switch, I was disappointed it was in the “pokemon go” format. if you enjoy pokemon a lot, this is for you.

This brought back so many childhood memories!!! It's a true HD remake of a classic game with a twist. Feels like a new game but still the original yellow I first played.

If you like Pokemon, this will do it for you. If you've never played Pokemon, this will do it for you. If you don't like Pokemon, hopefully it'll do it for you.
