I bought this as a Birthday gift. It was on my sons list of things he wanted. He really likes this game

I thought my kids would love this. They're fanatical about Pokemon cards and cartoons. This game has gotten marginal playing time though. They're way more into the Mario games.

This is still pokemon, so not let the new catching mechanic turn you off from the game. This is still Pokemon Yellow with new updates to the HM system. It lacks a solid online component but the single player is still solid.

Was fun to play put as I’m not to big of grinding in rpgs hasn’t had much replay value for me

kanto remakes are ok kind of dumbed down though still playable though worth getting on sale
