as a long time fan or the pokemon series from childhood. There's a bit of warming nostalgia playing this game. Definitely would recommend.

This is a great game for those trying to get into the Pokémon series, have played Pokémon go and are looking for something a little more, or for parents looking to play with their kids. It is the same Pokemon yellow you know and love from back in the day but with the GO twist. I’m personally not a huge fan of catching Pokémon for experience, but you get used to it over battling after a while. I really enjoy being able to see pokemon encounters on the overworld map and hope it makes a return in the mainline series.

Great games for younger gamers. This copy was a gift, but we do also own this game. It was a good family game that I was able to play with my son. I would recommend for the elementary school set.
