This is the perfect game to hold us over until Sword and Shield! It's a good all around intro to those new to the world of pokemon and those that learned about pokemon through GO.

This is a great game for both new and old players alike. It's a great way to also bring in the Niantic Pokemon Go world into the Switch. If you're a Pokemon fan this game is a must have!

My son is a huge Pokemon fan and has been having fun playing this game. Lot's of reading and investigating involved which I consider educational, and tons of different Pokemon to catch.

The game is more about catching Pokemon than battling, but it's still a fun updated twist on a classic game. Wish the pokemon stayed more true to their original elements though as well.

This is the first Pokemon game I have bought since Gameboy Advance. I missed out on the DS generation. I'm glad I didn't miss out on this new game. Really enjoying visiting Kanto again.

Bought this for my 7 yr old son’s bday. He loves it. Took to it right away. He’s been watching the animated series and is enjoying the game.

Just like all previous pokemon games, there is a version difference between Pikachu and Eevee versions (version exclusive pokemons exist). Recommend any of the two for the beginners.

Who doesn’t love Picachu. It brings back the good ol days! It’s the same only better! I already beat it! Lots of extras to do after tho! I’m still playing!

My son is 6 and finds it hard to play, he doesn't read well 100% and would of been nice to have the wording read out loud. He was very exicted to play it but it's not that interested anymore.

This is a great remake of pokemon yellow with modern gameplay. I lost track of the whole pokemon timeline so keeping it gen 1 was a smart choice since its what most are familiar with

I grew up with pokemon and this game hit home run for me. My nephew loves it more than I do. Great for kids if you want them to get off your back for a few hours.

I haven't personally played this as I can't pry the system out of my son's hands but he's enjoying it. If you have younger kids or grandchildren, I'm sure that they will enjoy this.

My girlfriend bought this as well so I returned this one. It's a fun, non-violent, game to buy and play online. Just wish it was better being paired up with Pokemon Go!

A very fun and interactive game. My first Pokémon game, and I love it. My boyfriend is an old Stan of the Pokémon games and he loves it as well.

My son loves it! Great graphics! Easy to play for all ages. Fun co-op mode. Got to catch them all!

Nintendo has some of the best games. If u don’t have a switch, theme this is the game that will make u get one.

It’s like Pokémon Yellow for the Gameboy without the surprise Pokémon appearing. Not to mention you get the play with Pikachu!

Good game, its lots of fun when you play with friends, and it cant be beat for the price. this game brings back the memory of old Game boy games.
