Not necessarily for hardcore Pokemon fans, but still a decent game.

This game is really targeted towards a younger crowd and it fairly easy to go through, but it was still enjoyable and fun. The new mechanic that lets you see pokemon walk around the real world was what made this game magical for me.

It's pokemon so I was always going to play and spend time with it, but I am disappointed in the game as a whole. Catering too much to kids and people looking for nostalgia has really taken away from everything I have loved about the franchise in recent years. I get that they wanted to simplify, but too much has been stripped, such as breeding, held items, abilities, GTS, etc. This game should have been half the price for what it provides compared to previous titles.

My son loves everything pokemon so he was very excited to play.
